Shadow moon sect

Xuan Ping lay comfortably on his bed in his court, enjoying the privileges of being a core disciple in the Endless Sky Sect. As he relaxed, he couldn't help but feel a longing for his elder brother and junior sister. "Are they thinking of me too?" he wondered.

A loud bang interrupted his thoughts as someone knocked on the door. Fatigued from his three years at the Endless Sky Sect, Xuan Ping began to wonder who it could be. The experience was nothing compared to when he, Xiao Feng, and his junior sister Xu Qing travelled the world together.

"Come in," Xuan Ping said calmly and soothingly.

"Good day, Senior Brother. The Sect Master wants to meet you," the visitor said politely.

"Okay, I'll be there in a jiffy," Xuan Ping replied.

Once the junior left, Xuan Ping stood up and made his way to the Sect Master's Abode. As he entered, he saw the Sect Master with his back turned, hands folded behind him, sighing.

"You're here. I want to take you somewhere," the Sect Master said.

Xuan Ping looked on blankly as he followed the Sect Master to the back of the sect. The view was peaceful and serene – water falling gently with a plain and downward flow, ending with a splash as it touched the rocks. Birds chirped, creating a chorus of melodic symphonies.

The name "Endless Sky Sect" represented the sect's core principles of transcending boundaries and limitations. Cultivators of the sect aimed to break free from earthly constraints and soar towards spiritual enlightenment. The name reflected their aspiration for boundless growth, transcendence, and unity with the heavens.

The Endless Sky Sect had a rich history dating back over a thousand years, originating in a remote region in Sichuan on the continent. It was founded by a group of powerful cultivators who shared a belief in the tremendous power of the spiritual energy that permeated the world. They sought to harness this energy to achieve enlightenment and ascend to new levels of power.

The founders of the Endless Sky Sect were revered for their exceptional mastery of the elements, effortlessly controlling elemental Qi. As the sect gained fame and influence, more cultivators flocked to join. However, only those with exceptional talent and dedication were allowed to be initiated into the sect.

Over the centuries, the Endless Sky Sect faced various challenges, including rival sects and calamities. Yet, despite the difficulties, the sect remained resilient, holding true to its values of harmony, discipline, and enlightenment.

"And so, these teachings were passed down to my ancestors and to me, the current Sect Master."

The Celestial Empowerment Cave, located deep within the sect, was said to have such dense energy that it crackled in the air like lightning. Only the most skilled cultivators dared to enter, as the sheer power of the energy could overwhelm those not strong enough. It became a trial that disciples must face. Rumors circulated that the cave also held ancient texts and artifacts containing secrets of powerful cultivation techniques.

It all began when my grandson stumbled upon the Celestial Empowerment Cave. There, he gained a Heavenly Divine Body," the Sect Master explained, pointing towards the cave.

Xuan Ping looked at the entrance, observing the swirling mass of energy. To his surprise, his grandson could enter the cave without any restraint and emerged with a Heavenly Divine Body.

A Heavenly Divine Body was a rare and extraordinary physical form with an unparalleled affinity for all elemental Qi. Cultivators usually had to focus on a specific element, but those with a Heavenly Divine Body could cultivate all elements simultaneously, making them immensely powerful.

Furthermore, possessing a Heavenly Divine Body was considered a precious gift from the heavens, often propelling individuals to the top of the cultivation world. What was even more astonishing was that a baby boy, barely a year old and born with an ordinary physique, entered the Celestial Empowerment Cave and came out with a Heavenly Divine Body.

After careful consideration, it was believed to be an inheritance of the Endless Sky Sect.

However, an unexpected twist occurred when an evil sect discovered an ancient prophecy speaking of a pure-hearted individual who possessed the potential to disrupt their dark plans and bring about their downfall. After malicious research, they realized that the only person who matched this description was none other than the grandson of the Endless Sky Sect's master – the one who possessed the Heavenly Divine Body.

[Unbeknownst to the Endless Sky Sect, a secret prophecy has been passed down for generations within the Shadow Moon Sect.

Driven by fear of the prophecy and the potential threat it posed to their wicked ambitions, the Shadow Moon Sect devised a deceitful plan. They kidnapped their own grandson with the intention of brainwashing him, suppressing his true potential, and corrupting his true nature, effectively turning him into a weapon of their own.

"Hmm, the Endless Sky Sect has quite an interesting background," Xuan Ping remarked.

"Yes, so about the favor?" the sect master asked.

"Now I understand. When I saved you before, you were actually on a mission to rescue your grandson, right?" Xuan Ping inquired.

"Exactly," he replied.

"What still puzzles me is how they managed to kidnap your grandson... Well, I suppose I'll have to uncover that myself. And remember, this will be your last favor," Xuan Ping stated.

"I have no other desire but the safety of my grandson. I don't mind," the sect master assured.

"Good... The Shadow Moon Sect, huh? It seems like they have a long and intriguing history," Xuan Ping yawned. "I also have a favor to ask of you."

"If it's within my capacity, I'll do it," the sect master promised.

"Well, it is within your capability. I want to enter the Celestial Empowerment Cave," Xuan Ping requested.

"Hmm," the sect master sighed. "If that's what you want, then consider it done," he agreed.

"Shadow Moon Sect... Shadow Moon Sect..." Xuan Ping repeated those words in his mind, intrigued by the mystery that surrounded them.

The Shadow Moon Sect thrived in the dark depths of the Forbidden Forest. Its disciples were shrouded in mystery, drawing upon their inner darkness to tap into the formidable powers of the demonic realm.

To cultivate within the Shadow Moon Sect, disciples had to undergo rigorous training to harness their demonic energy. This process involved delving into their darker instincts, confronting their deepest fears, and embracing the shadows that lurked within.

When disciples embarked on their cultivation journey, they meditated in the moonlit courtyard, absorbing the malevolent energy radiating from the eerie moon. As they immersed themselves in the shadows, their bodies transformed, gaining increased resilience and otherworldly abilities.

As their cultivation progressed, disciples learned to manipulate the essence of darkness, conjuring shadowy tendrils and cloaking themselves in an impenetrable veil of shadows.

The Shadow Moon Sect cultivated a unique blend of darkness and self-mastery, shaping its disciples into formidable beings capable of weaving shadows and striking fear into the hearts of their adversaries.

In a secluded corner of the Shadow Moon Sect, a small, dimly lit prison stood tall and imposing. The heavy iron doors creaked as they swung open, revealing a young child named Lan Wei huddled in the cold, damp cell.

Lan Wei, with his innocent eyes and disheveled hair, sat against the cold stone wall, his knees drawn close to his chest for warmth. He wore tattered clothes that barely covered his frail frame, a testament to the harsh conditions he endured.

Lan Wei groaned in pain as his hands were tightly bound, anxiously waiting for his grandfather to come and rescue him.

Through the space created by the iron prison door, he could see two guards standing watch outside his cell.

Observing their demeanor, Lan Wei knew they were adept masters. He couldn't help but wonder why two skilled cultivators would be guarding him. "Am I really that important?" he thought.

"If my assumption is correct, I'll find out soon. When will they take me away and possibly kill me, just like the rest?" Lan Wei shouted in frustration.

"I met many others imprisoned down here, and now I'm left alone, drowning in this bitterness and pain," he added.

One of the guards turned his gaze towards him. "Aren't you well-fed?" he asked.

Lan Wei gritted his teeth. "What is the use of being properly fed when I'm trapped here like a beast with no freedom?" he thought.

"And yes, you'll be leaving very soon. The preparations are almost done. You're more indispensable than the rest, which is why you're receiving special treatment. So don't even think of doing anything strange," the guard warned, sighing.

"Damn!" Lan Wei cursed silently. Loneliness enveloped him, yet he clung onto a glimmer of hope within his heart. His confinement only fueled his determination. Each passing day, he observed the guards, studying their routines and the structural weaknesses of his prison cell. "Grandfather, where are you?" he wondered.

"You two can leave now. It seems that seeing you two doesn't make him happy," a voice transmitted through the guards' minds.

"You two can leave now. It seems seeing the both of you doesn't make him happy," the voice transmitted directly into the minds of the guards.

"But... who would be tasked to guard him?" the first guard replied using voice transmission.

"You don't have to worry about that. The head has left the four of us with the responsibility of watching over him now," the voice answered calmly.

"What! The four supreme beings of our sect to watch over a boy?" the second guard thought incredulously.

The Shadow Moon Sect sought pure strength and would eliminate anything that hindered them from achieving their goals. They valued a single-minded focus towards their objectives.

Within the sect, there existed five mysterious supreme beings, with the first being stronger than the remaining four. While the other four were once elders of the sect, they were granted the opportunity to break through to the supreme stage. As a result, the sect master assigned them to oversee any threats, no matter how small, to their sect.

These four figures were known as the 'Four Killing Shadows.'

Operating in secrecy and shrouded in darkness, barely two percent of the sect population had ever even laid eyes on them. Apart from the sect master, no one knew their true identities, appearance, or modus operandi.

"Don't let me repeat myself," the voice spoke again, resolute and commanding.

The guards felt their bodies freeze, immobilized by the overwhelming presence of the supreme beings.

"Still not going?" the voice compelled, its power making the guards unable to move.

"Fuck! How does he expect us to move when we're frozen in fear?" the first guard thought in frustration, unable to escape the grip of absolute strength.

Lan Wei stood there, watching the guards act helplessly before the overwhelming display of power. He observed with a mix of curiosity and trepidation, realizing the extent of authority and strength possessed by these supreme beings of the Shadow Moon Sect.
