Shu mexing guided ming yue to the dining room and helped him sit on a chair.

"ge I made noodles, i know you must be hungry, let bring it for you to eat"

She said as she went into the kitchen and brought the food out looking at him with a wicked smile inconsistent with her angelic face.

she sat beside him and talked to him as he ate, keeping him company or maybe just to make sure he ate the food.

After ming yue was done eating, she quickly helped him up the stairs to his room then went downstairs, she cleaned up the plates and took them to the kitchen to wash.

"Why don't you die sooner, you blind bat, I am tired of being your maid you abnormal bastard! Ordering me around like I am your slave without any shame, handicapped idiot" she cursed resentfully as she washed

"What is the use of that beastly face more beautiful than a woman, sooner or later it will be disfigured!" her expression twisted in hate as she continued cursing.

This continued for a while before she finished washing the dishes, then she climbed back upstairs and knocked on ming yue room door.

"Yue-ge, do you need anything else?"she asked gently but her expression ferocious.

" No...I won't be coming out anymore, it's already late you should also get some rest, don't keep doing the chores, leave it to the house keeper"

"Ge, you Know I won't be of peace of mind if I don't do it myself, don't worry about me I know my limit"

"Then, good night"

" Good night" after that she muttered "blind bat" then left.

Anyone seeing and watching all these would think that ming yue has done a serious crime against both protagonists but infact could be said to be half their savior and even be called their savior.

Li-wei became ming yue childhood friend because his family were neighbors to ming yue's.

Unfortunately, when li-wei was ten, his parents died in an airplane crash in their bid and desperate to elevate their failing careers and ming yue parents in their kind heartedness informally adopted him, they took care of him like their own.

They sponsored his education at the same level with ming yue, he wasn't lacking in anything.

But unfortunately, the couple also died prematurely in a car accident, but luckily they already had a will.

They willed some of their properties to him as they Want him to live well for a lifetime as his parents didn't leave him anything and they took him like their own child.

But li-wei was not satisfied and resented the fact that they even willed anything to ming yue, as he thought that ming yue is trash and useless because he's blind.

He thinks he is entitled to equal or all the properties and was even more mad the major properties was given to the blind ming yue.

Similar to shu mexing, ming yue saved her when she was nearly sold off by her father to a red light district to pay off his debts.

He saved her on one of his trips to orphanages, inheriting his parents heart, he took her in.

When she first came,she was dazzled by his wealth and tried to seduce him so he would marry her and she would become the second master of the house but her seduction failed on him.

Then later, li-wei reached out to her with a malicious deal that would also benefit her and she happily agreed.

She schemed and drove out all the servants except their confidants for the convenience of their harmful plan.

They both fall in love during the process and became hasty with the plan so they get their happy ending earlier.

So, she started poisoning him slowly, and if he became weak or ill, they persuaded him not to go to the hospital to check himself and if he couldn't be persuaded, they would bring a quack doctor they bribed to lie to him.

Infact this thought out plan worked really well in the original plot, they succeeded and became rich, got married and later relocated to another country to start a new happily ever after.

The moment wen sying stepped his foot into the house, a loud drunken voice broke the silence.

"You finally came back, you bastard,where have you been?"

Normally, ying pei wouldn't care about the whereabouts of wen sying but he seemed to be in a rare mood today.

"I went to the orphanage" wen sying answered his earlier question timidly.

"You went to see the bastard children like you and that nosy old woman"

Saying that his head tilted on the arm of the rugged chair he sat and fell asleep.

Raising a brow, wen sying passed him and went to the room the original owner stayed during his lifetime.

Although, he had seen the state of the room in the memories he acquired, he still wanted to beat up ying pei after seeing it in real life.

The room, it shouldn't even be called a room, was so rundown that it was surprising a human lived in it.

He walked into the room, dusted the raggedy matrass or straw bed on the floor and lied down.

He smiled as he thought of the beautiful man he peeked at today, the beautiful man was going to come back to inspect if the money he donated was used in the cause he donated for, and when he comes, he will make sure to go with him.

The beautiful man is very kind, he will take him in when he sees him so pitiful.

The drunkard outside is a major part of his plan to be pitiful and gain sympathy from him.

So for now, the drunkard would be let go but not for long.

He thought as he smiled happily, then it turned cold, in this life, he would never let those greedy protagonists succeed, he didn't know why he thought so but it doesn't matter, his instincts has always been right, there is something about that silver eyed man that stirred something in him and it wasn't just lust, it was a sense of protection and a subtle or maybe intense possessiveness.

He didn't know where all these emotions pertaining this man came from but he doesn't care nor reject it, infact he embraced it.

The black car drove slowly on to dusty bumpy rural road but suddenly braked as a young boy fainted in front of it.

Ming yue at the back seat jerked forward due to the sudden break nearly hitting his head but was saved by his seatbelt.

After calming his scared emotions.

"What's going on? Why did you suddenly stop?" He asked the driver.

" A young boy fainted in front of the car" The middle aged man in the driver's seat answered

"Go check if he's hurt" ming yue said worriedly

"Yes sir, but I advise you stay in the car to avoid harm if it's a ploy of robbers"

"Don't worry about me, quickly go check on him"

Without saying any other thing, he went down to inspect the fainted boy, he squatted down to check him out.

"What's wrong with him" ming yue asked from the car window, his face from the driver direction.

"He's injured"

"Did you hit him with the car?" Ming yue asked worried.

"No sir"the driver assured him.

"Bring him into the car let's take him to the hospital"

The boy was brought in and the car was driven to the nearest hospital.

The boy was treated and the attending doctor came out to talk to ming yue.

"Mr ming yue, where did you find this young boy"

"He fainted in front of my car, why? What's wrong with him?"

"He has serious physical trauma, one of his rib is broken and it's a relief it didn't puncture his organ"

"Is his condition serious"

"Thankfully it isn't, but we still need to observe him"

"Please do all you can"

"I will, you can see him now, if you will excuse me, I have patients to get to"

"Thank you doctor"

After the doctor left,he instructed the driver to take him into the ward and excused him.

Outside the ward, the driver made a phone call.

" Yes he's In the ward with the boy" he said

The person on the other end said something and he replied

" I don't know his motive with the boy" he kept silent to listen then said

" Yes I will update you on anything else" after saying that he hesitated with a tangled expression then said

" Mr li-wei, what about my wife's hospital bills" after he listened his expression brightened then he continued

"Thank you sir" he finished gratefully

Meanwhile, ming yue who was inside the ward walked straight steadily making his blind stick superfluous as he walked to the boy's bedside without bumping into anything in this unfamiliar place.

When he got to the boy's side, he bent a little to look at the sleeping boy, then he traced the boy's facial features with his fingers then raised the boy's bangs exposing his forehead and face and looked at him without hindrance.

" So good looking" he said gently.

After he looked at him for a while, he turned around to walk to the couch.

The moment he turned, the sleeping boy eyes trembled and opened slightly, he looked at him with a pensive suspicious and interested look then quickly closed them completely.

Ming yue walked to the couch and sat down, his focused eyes back to unfocused.
