ARC 1-14
The moment Wei sying stepped into the restaurant, he noticed a beautiful woman waving and gesticulating to him.
The woman was as beautiful as described in the novel, she seemed to have walked out of a painting, she hadn't aged at all although she was in her thirties, she still looks like someone in her twenties.
While he observed her, he also observed him and was satisfied with what she saw, after all a child she and that handsome man could never be average in appearance, she became proud of her vision to meet his father and decision not to get rid of Wei sying.
When Wei sying got to the table, ye ting stood to hug him but was avoided by Wei sying as he sat.
Ye Ting stood awkwardly for some seconds and quickly brushed it off as she also sat down, her eyes gradually became misty as she brewed emotions and tried to hold his hand on the table but is avoided again.
Ye Ting knew it wouldn't be easy to gain his trust at the beginning but she wasn't too concerned after all a child who has always longed for his mother for so long it was only a matter of time before she would have him wrapped around her finger in obedience with her patient 'motherly love'
" I regret leaving you with your father, I wish I could have taken you with me at that time but circumstances could not allow me to"
ye ting said as she cried and she was the type of woman that if she cried would look heartbreakingly pitiful, a weak beauty that needed protection but it's such a pity her audience was Wei sying who didn't care about her performance.
"He's not my father" Wei sying interrupted carelessly
" Ah!" She exclaimed surprised and shocked at the unexpected interruption tears still running down her face like priceless pearls.
" Continue" Wei sying said to the surprised ye ting
Although she was a little surprised with his nonchalant uncaring attitude that showed no sign of sadness or longing she expected, she still persevered In her efforts.
" I..I couldn't see you grow this big, because of me you were physically abused, mom Is regretful for not taking you along whatever the cost if I had known he was such a kind of person"
Wei sying watched her drama in interest as he thought it was a shame she didn't debut into the entertainment industry she would have made a career with her deceptive acting skills.
" I even went back to get you but he wouldn't give you to me, I haven't been able to sleep properly in so many years, I was so scared.." she continued to say
" Are you done?" Wei sying said finally bored with her performance
" Ah" she was surprised again and this time she forgot to cry.
" You and I both know you aren't here for unnecessary sentiments, say what you want to say so I can leave" Wei sying continued

ye ting said boredly as sadness cleared away from her expression, she elegantly dug into her bag for a flowery handkerchief which she wiped her crocodile tears with, finally knowing her acting wouldn't work on him.
She then started eating the dessert she ordered and said
" Your father can't get an heir"
expecting a reaction from him but she was doomed not to get it as Wei sying replied
" So?"
" He's looking for an heir"
she said emphasizing the word heir unsatisfied on why the son she gave to who seemed smart was acting stupid.
Wei sying raised a brow in question so she continued exasperated
" He already knows about you and he's eager to know you personally"
" But that's not really your motive for calling me here right? If it's just that he would just look for me himself"Wei sying said
" It's a good thing you inherited my smartness, I don't need to explain everything to you, well I'm no longer satisfied with being his mistress" she said after she finished her dessert and crossed her slim legs very sure Wei sying would support and help her since she's his mother.
" Its a pity, I have no interest in helping you and I am not going back to the wei house"Wei sying said smashing her expectations
" What's wrong with helping me, I'm your mother! If you take over the Wei family in the future with your illegitimate status people will talk about you behind your back?!"
Ye Ting said agitated over his refusal and persuaded
" Not that I care but you seem to forget that I'm not the cause of this issue, whether you remain a mistress or make him divorce his current wife and marry you as the legal wife, the fact remains that 'you' will still be talked about behind 'your' back and called a homewrecker" Wei sying said
" Fine! Don't help and see if you won't regret letting go of the Wei house later" ye ting said angrily as she took her bag and stood up to leave.
" You misunderstand, I said I wouldn't help you, It doesn't mean that I'm giving up the Wei company or power, whether I help you or not I will still inherit or better still get the Wei property"
Wei sying said lazily in contrast to ye ting angry voice, hands in his pocket as he also stood then continued to say.
" Miss ye ting, you have the ability to get Mr Wei to marry you and don't really need my help, if you are trying to manipulate me so I can become your puppet on string after you succeed in your insidious plan then I am not sorry to let you know that it's impossible in this life...let Mr Wei contact me himself" then Wei sying left the restaurant first.
Ye Ting who was supposed to be angry smiled then laughed happily
" Good, he's heartless just like me, I was afraid he would revenge against me but it's useless to be afraid as he doesn't even care about me, I can rest assured and go ahead with my plans"
