"Ariana Rose Conrad! Shouldn't you be at school right now? Why are you there when you know it's a hot place for those useless people? " Of course, her brother Ariel couldn't help it and started ranting like always.

Smirking, she ended the conversation and started walking toward the old man who was still silent without looking at the gang she beat up earlier. It was as if she had completely forgotten about them.

"Grandpa, are you okay?" She asked, hoping he wasn't scared of her.

As if waking up from a dream, the old man blinked a few times before answering.

"N-No. I mean. I'm fine. Thank you so much, child."

Seeing that he was acting normal, Ariana helped him to his feet.

"Can you go home by yourself? They won't do anything to you anymore and I really need to go to school now. " She said, a little concerned about the grandpa.

"I will be fine, so you don't have to worry."

"So, please be careful after this grandpa. Don't walk alone in this kind of place anymore okay? I'll get going first. " She was in a hurry, but stopped on her track because the grandpa suddenly grabbed her hand.

Ariana looked at him questioningly.

"You are a good child, I pray that if you are ever involved in something dangerous, you will be safe no matter what. Remember, everything that happens will definitely have a meaning behind it."

Ariana tilts her head a little not understanding a thing that the grandpa trying to convey, but she just nodded and smiled before start walking again. After a few steps ahead, she turned back to see the grandpa, but surprisingly he is not there anymore.

"Is he walking in the other direction?" She can only question herself before continuing to walk toward the school.

- Lily! Did the discipline teacher hold an inspection again today?"

Lily:

- You're so dead. He's everywhere that I even thought he is a ninja in his previous life!

Ariana:

- I can't help it. Someone got on my nerves.

Lily:

- Poor those people who encountered this girl. She didn't even sweat while fighting. In pain, the people who got beaten probably started thinking about their lives only now.

Ariana laughs a little reading this. Lily is her best friend and one and the only person who knows who she really is, as her father also works for the organization. Now, after walking for some time here she is. Standing in front of her school building, one of the places that she despises the most. She didn't even do well at school, but she does love the sports and the martial art club here.

'Only that makes me keep going. ' Ariana murmured to herself.

Even though her parents don't force her to continue learning, still, they ask her to at least finish high school. And the time has come. This is her last year in high school, which is the moment she has been looking forward to all this time.

Ariana now opens her face mask to get ready to enter the school whose gate is already closed because the school is using face recognition devices in front of the building. What a digital school right?

Well, on days when the air level is at a worrying level, everyone is required to wear a mask everywhere, but she usually wears the mask every day because she often bumps into groups of garbage like before. So to protect her identity because she is still a student, she has to be prepared.

Now, she is faced with another crisis in life. She really thinks hard about whether she wants to sneak into school or just go home, even though she is already here.

Ariana knows that she will feel bored at school, but if she goes home, she knows she has to listen to her four brothers nagging her for a long time, especially Ariel who will never let her live in peace.

Thinking of Ariel made Ariana shiver and shake her head. She was not in the mood to face her brother, especially that one so determinedly, so she started getting ready to climb the school fence.

She looked around first and after not finding anyone there, especially the school guard, she started climbing. She was halfway there, and suddenly the gate opened by itself. It's an automatic fence anyway.

Startled, she just held on and let herself move along the fence. As soon as the fence stopped moving, with her cute face, she looked forward with a grin as she saw someone familiar there.

The school disciplinarian, Mr. Smith has been already in front, standing with his famous cane in hand that Ariana had felt so many times for her mischief.

Although secretly she is a mafia princess, on the outside, she is still like a little girl and likes to play tricks on her teacher. She was never rude or did anything bad to her teacher but just too playful for her own good. But in the end, she accepted any punishment easily. She knows she's the one at fault anyway.

"Oh my, there you are Mr. Smith. Good morning. Today the weather is really good, don't you think? " She tries the hardest now.

"Ariana! Come here for a moment."

Mr. Smith said while showing her his smile that was full of deep meaning, but his tone sounded just like a predator had found its prey.

Ariana can't help but feel nervous. This situation is more nerve-wracking for her than fighting the enemies before!

"I swear I didn't come late on purpose this time." She tries to defend herself even if Mr. Smith didn't say anything yet.
