After Lord Deckard faced the King, Alexander Conrad, Zayn was called to face the king separately.

"It's been a while Duke Zayn." Alexander began.

"It sure is Your Highness. What do you want me to do for you this time?" As usual, Zayn always wanted their meeting to be short and straight to the point.

Alexander is already used to Zayn's behavior, so he doesn't care about it at all.

"Recently, there are too many events that I heard happened in your palace even though it wasn't directly reported to me."

"I already handle it myself. No need for the King to be concerned about what happens in my area of authority. I'll make sure your good name will not be tarnished no matter what happens there."

Alexander smirked hearing the dishonest words.
