The heavy silence accompanying the room now even made Sir Paul who usually keeps his poker face in any situation can't help but have wavering eyes there looking at the King and the Duchess alternately.

At first, Ariana was waiting for Alexander in the drawing room but somehow the King refuses to meet her there when he is the one who decided that their meeting was there during the day.
