The centre of this layer was like Thea had described it.
It was a huge mountain the shape of a skull with one eye socket. The skull was completely black like obsidian tiles.
A demonic aura was exuded by the mountain which caused their hearts to beat rapidly in trepidation.
"How do we enter?" Ele asked.
In response, Thea stood up and walked into a cave at the base of the skull mountain without any regard for anything.
After a short while, the rest of the humans did as Thea had done.
The inside of the skull mountain was completely dark that it was difficult to see.
Torches lit with white fire radiated the only light in this place. Not even the Vermillion True Flame could form light here.
It only turned into pure heat.
After a while, Thea stopped and knelt on one knee in the darkness.
"What are you…?" Before Alexa could complete her sentence, light filled the cave and the humans could finally see around them.
Thousands of Jin-Jin clansmen were all seated, watching the humans like they were an important show.
"This…" Lu Zheng's heart jolted at the sight. Their auras made him know that everyone here was between the first tier of Void Passage realm and the third tier of Original realm.
If he threw a stone in a random direction, chances were that he would hit an Acquisition realm expert.
That was an existence he could not dare to offend.
"Thea! What is the meaning of this?!" Olina demanded but the presence of a Jin-Jin clansman utterly shunned her.
He was just like the rest of the Jin-Jin clansmen in every way except for his eyes. They were pure white like the purest ivory.
When Lu Zheng found himself looking into his eyes just for a moment, he felt like his brain was being torn apart into millions of pieces.
"Well done child" The Supreme Lord of the Jin-Jin clansmen said to Thea and immediately, her eyes cleared.
She stood up, disoriented and dazed. When she saw the man before her, she shrieked and backed off immediately.
The Supreme Lord had a faint smile.
"My children, I know that you would want to tear these humans to pieces and devour them. Do not worry about them for where we are headed, humans are like blades of grass in a field" The Supreme Lord said.
A white band of light formed from the Supreme Lord's finger and surrounded Lu Zheng, wrapping him like a mummy.
Lu Zheng tried to channel the Vermillion True Flame but he couldn't even think straight.
He was completely defenceless.
"After many millennia" The Supreme Lord smiled at the wrapped Lu Zheng. "A Vermillion Bird has walked into our domain"
The Supreme Lord took Lu Zheng to a large podium on which a small formation was situated.
The formation was so small that one might even disregard its presence. A very long sword floated at its centre.
The sword had two colours, red and blue which went from the opposite sharp edges before meeting at the middle.
The sword gave off a cool heat to the surroundings.
As the Supreme Lord approached the formation, the white band loosened to reveal Lu Zheng's upper half. A small cut appeared on Lu Zheng's arm.
Warm blood trickled from the cut, floating into the formation before disappearing.
The blood continued to flow, pouring in large amounts for many hours that Lu Zheng was beginning to feel anaemic.
The blood he had already lost could feel a huge wine vat.
Just when Lu Zheng felt like he had no more blood left in him, blood stopped flowing from his wound and the formation had disappeared.
The sword flew towards Lu Zheng who was disregarded by the Supreme Lord.
The white band around Lu Zheng disappeared and the sword flew into his hand. When he looked around, the scenery had changed.
They were all in the final layer of the secret realm.
This layer was very hot and dense yang Qi filled it.
The sky was reddish and the earth was crimson.
Breathing became difficult for most people. It was like taking in columns of fire through the nostrils.
The air burnt their lungs. They had to use their own Qi to form barriers around themselves.
Only people like Olina, Jason, Julie and Lu Zheng who cultivated yang related paths or had yang attribute bloodlines felt at ease in this layer.
Lu Zheng in particular felt at ease immediately like he was in his own territory.
His abilities were even enhanced in this place.
Just as everyone was getting used to the new layer, a translucent red bubble enveloped Lu Zheng.
"Huh?" At once, a formless force pulled Lu Zheng in a certain direction.
"He's going to the centre" Thea muttered as everyone gawked at Lu Zheng.
Without hesitation, everyone followed Lu Zheng but their speed was greatly inferior to his.
