Chapter 92: Pulse Cutting Wave

Above Lu Zheng, a sharp white wave of wind over four hundred metres floated in the air.

Merely by being above Tammy, small cuts had opened all over her body.

"Sword intent?" Tammy was surprised. She thought Lu Zheng was a sword path martial warrior.

However, Lu Zheng knew it was not sword intent. He had released the eight layers of Eight Layered Thunder Flow at once and combined them into one single wave of wind.

The wave of wind was extremely sharp and despite the large gap between it and Tammy, she was already riddled with cuts.

~Pulse Cutting Wave… I didn't expect it to be this sharp~

Lu Zheng flicked his wrist and the Pulse Cutting Wave descended rapidly towards Tammy.

She wanted to run but no matter where she turned, the Pulse Cutting Wave seemed to follow her.

She did not know that Lu Zheng had instilled his soul consciousness inside it.

A moment later, the Pulse Cutting Wave cut Tammy into two clean halves. Large cuts ran along her body like slithering white snakes, cutting her corpse into hundreds of small bits.

Blue blood splashed from her and dyed the floor purple.

Lu Zheng's expression was complex as a sigh escaped his leaves.

He had only five Qi leaves left.

"A good technique but it expends too much Qi" Lu Zheng thought to himself as he dispelled Flame Cloak.

Pulse Cutting Wave and expended seven of his Qi leaves. The expenditure was too great.

Of course, the reason it expended so much Qi was because Lu Zheng had made it four hundred metres long.

"You can come out now" Lu Zheng said to no one in particular as his Sea of Consciousness swept over the area Tammy had died.

"Sigh" A loud groan resounded around the desert as Danny made his way out of the red sand.

He stood beside Tammy's corpse and glared at it with hate, ridicule and greed. No one could understand his emotions.

"Tehehe" Danny laughed maniacally as he shoved the remaining bits of meat that was left of Tammy into his mouth.

"What the…?" Lu Zheng was stunned by the turn of events.

Danny completely ignored Lu Zheng and was engrossed with cannibalising his wife's corpse.

Lu Zheng's skin crawled and when he couldn't bear the sight and an icicle jutted towards Danny, impaling him in the head.

Frost covered his body before exploding into smithereens. Only a crystalline six-edged prism was left intact.

Lu Zheng spatial skipped and caught the beast core mid-air before storing it away.

After a while, Lu Zheng stored Tammy's beast core too and her bones. They could serve as materials for refining high grade artifacts.

Lu Zheng disappeared from where he stood and appeared many metres underground in Tammy's cave.

Themur and the rest were scurrying through a sea of burnt spiders. Every while, someone would jump in jubilation whilst holding a beast core.

Mei Luan stood a distance away with the sword in her hands. When she saw Lu Zheng, she bowed: "Master"

"Hmm" Lu Zheng nodded as Mei Luan vanished with the sword sheathing itself in Lu Zheng's sheath.

Lu Zheng flew towards the cave walls and began plucking the firestones that were embedded in them.

Soon, all the light in the cave were gathered on Lu Zheng's palm, a total of forty three firestones.

"Those are… firestones" Sanchez saw Lu Zheng as he flew towards them.

When Danny had brought them in, they were in a ball of webs so none of them knew that there were firestones in the cave.

"Yes" Lu Zheng smiled before giving five each to everyone except for Themur who received eight firestones.

"This…" Juanfran was surprised.

"We can't possibly accept these" Lamber said.

"Consider them as gifts for keeping Themur safe" Lu Zheng chuckled slightly before turning to Themur.

"Now you can explain what you are doing here"

Themur was stilled overjoyed from receiving eight firestones when Lu Zheng spoke to him.

Suddenly, his expression became sorrowful as he recounted everything that had happened since Lu Zheng left for the layered realm.

"Oh? Where is this Firestone Valley?" Lu Zheng's interest was piqued.
