Chapter 96: Bullying Others

The seven men were stunned by the turn of events.

One of their comrades had flown into the air to challenge Lu Zheng but he had died before they had even begun to fight.

"Dapo…" A man in glasses called out slowly in a pained tone. Turning to face Lu Zheng, his expression became fierce: "You bastard! You are courting death!"

Earth Qi flowed from the man as he was bathed in a warm yellow light.

The mountain ground hummed loudly as mounds of earth flew up with the man.

Just as he was about to attack, the man that was referred to as Five appeared beside him and patted him on the shoulder: "Segun, back down. You can't beat this man"

Five's expression was serious as he gazed at Lu Zheng. The latter had concealed his aura but when he attacked Dapo, his aura had dispersed a little.

The others couldn't sense it but Five was at the peak of Void Passage realm. His senses were keen and sharp.

Segun wanted to argue but Five's grip on his shoulder became firm and the earth Qi that surrounded him dispersed.

"Hmm" Segun nodded before descending to the ground.

"Friend, you have killed one of us for no reason. For that, you will pay the price" Five muttered.

"No reason? Your friend wanted to kill me but I suddenly can't do the same?" Lu Zheng was amused.

"No matter. Femi, Tobi, come, let's take care of this intruder" Five smiled as space Qi poured from his meridians causing space to turn and twist around him.

The two second tier of Void Passage realm martial practitioners flew to the sky and surrounded Lu Zheng.

Lightning bolts curled around Femi's body as poison Qi emanated from Tobi's body.

Lu Zheng faced Five and smiled: "A space path Void Passage realm expert. How rare"

"It's too late to run away now" Five said.

"Who said I wanted to run?" Lu Zheng's tone became serious as his blood began to boil.

Bloodline power oozed from his blood vessels as his skin turned red.

Lu Zheng's black hair turned into a mixture of red and white as his pupils became the deepest tinge of red and cold blue.

Thunder boomed from within Lu Zheng as blue lightning bolts criss-crossed his body. Sharp wind currents enveloped Lu Zheng's body.

Space twisted and churned around Lu Zheng as an omnipotent aura emanated from him.

"You are the one who's meant to run" Lu Zheng's words were as sharp as blades.

"Fire path, lightning path, wind path, ice path and space path! What monster is this!?" Tobi exclaimed.

Five was unable to comprehend what he was seeing. In all of his life, he had never heard of anyone cultivating five different paths.

He didn't even think it was possible.

"Hmph!" Five snorted and released his own aura. Spatial ripples formed from him before spreading towards Lu Zheng.

Lu Zheng's body shimmered and disappeared from where he stood and appeared behind Five.

"How?" Five was surprised as Lu Zheng punched him at the back.

In an instant, Five's body hurtled away like a horseshoe before crashing into the mountain ground.

"For a space path martial practitioner, your boss is quite slow" Lu Zheng smiled as he faced Femi and Tobi.

"Die!" Femi roared as numerous lightning bolts snaked towards Lu Zheng at an unbelievable speed.

"Lightning, against me?" Lu Zheng chuckled as he flicked his wrist.

The lightning bolts made an arc mid-air as they turned to face Femi. In a flash, the lightning bolts struck Femi.

Tobi screamed as poison Qi flowed from his body. Two daggers had appeared in his hands as he flew towards Lu Zheng.

Lu Zheng's expression was sombre as he stared at the cloud of poison Qi that surrounded Tobi.

Even with the Vermillion Bird Race's regenerative abilities, he could land at death's door if he was poisoned.

A Flame Ball formed before Lu Zheng and crashed into Tobi's body, burning him into a crisp.

His soul immediately flew into Lu Zheng's forehead and was absorbed by Lu Zheng.

"You bastard!" Five lost his demeanour as spatial blades formed around him like a dark web.

The spatial blades were incredibly sharp and could cut anything. Lu Zheng's body wasn't an exception.

"Space path martial practitioners can be truly troublesome" Lu Zheng rubbed his temples as the spatial blades cut towards Lu Zheng.

Everything in their path was cut into pieces as they neared Lu Zheng. Even the space around him was locked that he couldn't spatial skip.

"But… you underestimate me" Lu Zheng smiled as he used a peculiar footwork.

Lu Zheng left numerous afterimages in his wake and dodged the many spatial cuts before appearing before Five.

"This speed!" Five was tongue tied.

The space around him elongated beyond limits and every step was like a thousand metres. Even so, Lu Zheng's speed only reduced slightly.

The sword on Lu Zheng's waist was unsheathed as it made a dangerous arc in the air.

Its target was naturally Five's neck.
