Chapter 100: Three Peaks Mountain
Lu Zheng stood at the centre of the formation as blue lightning rained upon him, obscuring him from vision.
Adara watched from a distance and chuckled to herself: "This fool will only kill himself. Even when I was at the Sky realm, I did not dare to summon that much lightning"
Themur walked out from the garden and crouched beside Adara, gazing at the shower of lightning intently.
Even though he could not use his Sea of Consciousness to peer into the centre of the formation, he knew Lu Zheng was the one there.
"Your master is foolhardy" Adara said.
Themur gazed at the woman, staring at her before scoffing: "You don't know him. He can control lightning like an extension of his own body. Something like this cannot kill him"
Themur remembered his recent breakthrough.
The Heavenly Dao had raised the difficulty of the tribulation beyond reasoning that the lightning took on the form of purple lightning.
He already thought he would die until Lu Zheng controlled the bolt of lightning.
Themur knew that compared to Lu Zheng, his body was like paper. If he had born the pain of purple lightning then Lu Zheng could surely do much better.
Adara gazed at Themur with her brown eyes before snorting: "It had better not. The backlash would hurt my trees"
Adara took another glance at where Lu Zheng was and remembered how she had thrown him tens of metres away during their earlier encounter.
She had planned to kill him with that technique but other than being tossed away, the man was relatively uninjured.
"Hmph!" Adara snorted before going into her house. She had to think of a way to purchase the thousand year thunderblitz trees from Three Peaks Mountain Lord.
Just the thought made Adara's heart turn cold.
In terms of cultivation base and battle strength, she was stronger Three Peaks Mountain Lord who was only an artificer at the first tier of Acquisition realm.
However, Three Peaks Mountain Lord was a Grandmaster artificer. She refined many of the artifacts that the Palaces and Sects in the country used.
Many martial practitioners would do anything to earn the favour of Three Peaks Mountain Lord.
If she asked any of these people to kill Adara, Adara would not live to tell the tale.
"Sigh. This world is truly unfair" Adara mumbled.

Whilst Adara brooded over ways to convince Three Peaks Mountain Lord, Lu Zheng bore the might of numerous lightning bolts.
If any random person were to pass by, they would think Lu Zheng had offended the Heavenly Dao greatly.
However, Lu Zheng knew that this was the best method of tempering the body.
Lu Zheng had bathed his body in pools of lava. His body that was naturally the embodiment of fire grew even more affinity towards fire path.
By tempering his entire body with lightning, not only would his body become stronger than steel, his affinity towards lightning path would also grow.
In this way, his battle strength would also rise.
Lu Zheng did not really care about cultivation base. He only saw it as a way to increase battle strength.
It was better if he was a Sky realm expert with the battle strength to take on Acquisition realm experts than an Acquisition realm expert that couldn't guarantee a win against someone with lower cultivation base.
It was because of this that Lu Zheng always sought methods of increasing his battle strength.
The rain of blue lightning seemed unending as if the Heavenly Dao was treating Lu Zheng as a vent for its anger but under his exquisite control over lightning, not even his skin was charred.
When the tempering was over, Lu Zheng's body would reach a new level in terms of physical strength.

In the sky flew two people.
One was a man with skin pure like jade and eyes black like an abyss. He had long black hair that reached his waist and wore a red robe with a sheathed sword hanging from his hip.
The other was a breathtakingly beautiful woman with dark shiny skin and brown pupils. Her hair was braided in a peculiar style and was designed with beautiful pink orchids. She wore a green gown that failed to hide the gentle curves that lined her waist.
Naturally, these two were Lu Zheng and Adara and they were headed for the most famous mountain in the Western Mountain Range.
Adara smiled as a peculiar mountain entered her line of vision.
The mountain was unique in comparison with the other ones around it.
It was extremely tall, reaching heights that would have put Mt. Everest to shame ten millennia ago. The mountain was completely covered in white earth and at the peak, it divided into three separate apexes.
Even from afar, one could tell that the ambient Qi surrounding the mountain was extremely dense.
"We're here" Adara smiled.
"Where's is here?" Lu Zheng was confused.
"This… is Three Peaks Mountain"
