Chapter 131: The Four Abominations of Yen Zhao

"Hmm" Houyan Meili nodded.

Bloodline power rose from her as small pink orbs of Vermillion True Flame formed around her.

The pink orbs flew randomly like harmless balls of tofu but when they came in contact with the beasts, they would explode violently with power that rivalled nuclear bombs.

The only difference was that these explosions were controlled to a small area.

Lu Zheng watched as rank five and six beasts exploded into nothingness as the pink orbs settled on them.

Lu Zheng did not stay idle. Strong wind currents were condensed into sharp white lines that cut down at the beasts like knives.

Crimson Sun Cutting Wheels cut towards beasts, slicing them like tofu as Flame Bombs exploded all over the place.

Lu Zheng's Fire Deity and Lightning Deity struck the beasts around them with fire path and lightning path techniques.

With Ignition and Sun of the Vermillion True Flames activated at once, Lu Zheng's battle strength reached an unprecedented height.

The others watched in surprise as Lu Zheng and Houyan Meili killed high ranking beasts in droves.

"Their bloodlines…"

"Those flames…"

"Aren't those members of the Vermillion Bird Race?"

The shock was too much for them to register.

The Vermillion Bird Race was the race with the strongest individual battle strength and they were secluded to Holy Flame City in Northern Desert.

Basically every race knew of the tale of the First and Second Great Wars. They knew how the Four Regal Bloodlines were beaten by the alliance of other races led by the human race and how they were forced into seclusion.

Hence, the appearance of two Vermillion Birds was of great shock to everyone else.

Liu Teng only shook his head where he was.

He was no longer surprised that Lu Zheng had discovered the secret of the beast tide before him. He was merely a half-blood of the Ancient Wood race.

Compared to the Vermillion Birds before him, he was nothing.

Vermillion True Flames spiralled out without control, engulfing many beasts, burning them to a crisp.

Lu Zheng controlled his bloodline power as he flew after Liu Teng.

As they went on, the Fire Deity and Lightning Deity continued to attack the many high rank beasts.

Within moments, the group of nine flew into a thicket of trees in which a small clearing stood at the centre.

Standing in the small clearing were three men, all garbed in similar clothes.

"Ha? It's been so long, I was beginning to think you would never come" The man in the middle said.

At his words, four colossal beasts reared out from behind him, staring threateningly at Lu Zheng's group.

One of the beasts had purple fur and strong fires blew from his nostrils. Its eyes were pure black and the fire Qi that emanated from it threatened to burn the very void.

Another was like a giant serpent with blue scales with white cloud-like patterns on its long body. Its head was like a triangular prism and icicles constantly fell from its jaw.

The third resembled a giant ape. Its fur was deep brown and a golden light enveloped its body. Whenever it pounded its chest, the trees rustled vigorously and the earth quaked.

The last beast was like a spider with twelve legs and a dozen eyes. Its body was covered with jaggy hair and its slender legs were as sharp as needles. As it walked, trees died and plants withered. The death Qi surrounding it was very thick.

A domineering rank seven aura radiated from the four beasts as they stared at Lu Zheng's group.

One of the women among the group paled in fright: "The Four Abominations of Yen Zhao!"

The man at the centre seemed pleased: "I'm glad you know my father. After he was besieged by the Void Passage realm experts of Thousand Incarnations Sect two millennia ago, he left me his only inheritance in order to exact his revenge. You people are merely pests that cannot change the course of fate"

"Yen Ku Feng, your father was a demonic path martial practitioner that fed living humans to his beasts in order to cultivate their strength. It was a good thing that he was eradicated from the world" The woman said.

Yen Ku Feng's expression changed: "If that's what you think, then you can become food to my beasts"

The four rank seven beasts roared as they charged at Lu Zheng and the others. They were hell bent on killing the ten people before them.
