Chapter 178: Conflict in the Outer Void

High up in the sky was a large city built on the clouds. The city was extremely large and was built on rank eight cloud path material cloud earth. Many of the people inside the city were above the Void Passage realm.

Somewhere close to the city, two men could be seen chasing after a very injured man.

The injured man had long silver hair and emerald green pupils. His fair skin was riddled with cuts and his left arm dangled loosely from his shoulder. A gaping hole had already formed in his stomach.

Despite his grave injuries, the man's eyes shined with a brilliant lustre as he flew through the air. Blood path aura surrounded his body as he slowly healed his injuries.

The two men behind him had tense expressions mixed with anger. Even as they flew, they did not forget to hurl insults and cusses at the injured man. Even a retard could tell how much they hated the man before them.

The two men were brothers by the names Zhang Zimo and Zhang Bingwen. In this region of Western Plains, whoever heard their names would shake with fear. After all, they were two of the four brothers that made the Four Zhangs.

Zhang Zimo and Zhang Bingwen were demonic path martial practitioners that came to Cloud Earth City in search of a complete inheritance left behind by featherman Huang Yi Jun, a wind path and cloud path martial practitioner.

The Four Zhangs were all earth path martial practitioners but they coveted featherman Huang Yi Jun's inheritance greatly because its contents contained clues to his wife, Great Earth Mistress' complete inheritance.

However, featherman Huang Yi Jun was also a demonic path martial practitioner and his inheritance was filled with deadly traps that caused the Four Zhangs serious injuries and many near death experiences but still, they persevered. After many months of soul torturing trials, the Four Zhangs finally made it to the inheritance.

It was then that the man named Lin Feng appeared at of nowhere to steal the inheritance. The Four Zhangs were angry and fought ruthlessly but they were barely a match for Lin Feng who had refined Reverend Divine Prime Jade's avatar into his body. Easily, Lin Feng killed two of the Four Zhangs before escaping for his life.

Zhang Zimo and Zhang Bingwen were torn with deep hatred. No matter how strong he was, they would never stop until they killed him.

Lin Feng's breathing was uneven as Qi filled his fingers. In a single moment, he tore space and created a spatial passage. Strong space path aura poured from the spatial passage and dangerous energies that slowly destroyed the body seeped out of it.

Unfazed, Lin Feng flew into the spatial passage. It was the only way he could turn the tables on Zhang Zimo and Zhang Bingwen.

The spatial passage self-detonated the moment Lin Feng went in but Zhang Zimo didn't even falter.

"You think you can escape?!" Zhang Zimo bellowed as he locked on Lin Feng's life aura before tearing space and flying into the spatial passage.

…..

Lu Zheng flew faster than the speed of light through the outer void. His gaze was full of surprise as he gazed at the darkness around him.

The darkness of the outer void was filled with dangerous energies that constantly corroded the body and destroyed the soul.

Even the soul of a Sky realm expert would not last a moment in the outer void before being destroyed.

Lu Zheng knew that Void Passage realm experts could barely travel through the outer void but even they could not ensure their safety. This was because of the dangerous energies in the outer void.

However…

~The dangerous energies of the outer void are not affecting me at all~

Lu Zheng had twenty four space path dao imprints and was a space path martial practitioner. Still, he did not expect that they would be enough to protect him from the dangerous energies in the outer void.

In fact, Lu Zheng could feel many space path dao imprints form on his body as he simply flew through the outer void. It was like he was being refined by the outer void itself.

Even though the space path dao imprints would be foreign, Lu Zheng knew that he could refine them into his own after they were completely formed. With more space path dao imprints, his battle strength would only increase.

Lu Zheng increased his speed as he entered a nebula of floating particles many times larger than houses on earth. Some were even the size of skyscrapers. His Sea of Consciousness spread like eerie tendrils as he soul searched the asteroids. He was looking for something.

"Found it!" Lu Zheng's gaze sharpened as his body disappeared before appearing on a distant asteroid instantly.
