Lu Zheng flew out of the walls of Blacksteel City with his spirit carriage. Zuo Xiuzhen sat beside him in the space that could easily accommodate ten people.
Soon, Lu Zheng's carefree expression tightened as he stood up suddenly. Space Qi shimmered around him but they quickly disappeared like invisible layers of light.
"Who's there?" Lu Zheng was cautious. From that little exchange, Lu Zheng already knew that his opponent was stronger than him.
Slowly, a silhouette of a person faded into existence before Lu Zheng. The vague silhouette condensed into a four metre tall man with sturdy limbs.
The man was exceedingly fair and slightly robust, his green pupils seemingly filled with wisdom. His short red hair wavered gently in the wind.
Zuo Xiuzhen was stunned to see the man. The main world was filled with myriad races that no one knew how many there were.
However, she knew this man was definitely from a superior race.
"The Titan race!" Lu Zheng identified the man's race immediately.
The man smiled faintly as he said: "Lu Zheng isn't it? You seem interesting"
Lu Zheng was composed as he asked: "What is the Titan Race doing in the main world?"
"Oh? I never knew you humans had become the lords of this realm" The Titan chuckled like he had just heard a joke.
A strong pressure emanated from his body that Zuo Xiuzhen felt her heart palpitate with fear. She felt like she no longer had her life in her own hands and the best thing to do was to kill herself.
"Such strong killing intent" Zuo Xiuzhen understood what was going on.
Lu Zheng suddenly became irritated as bloodline power filled his blood vessels. His blood boiled and churned as his hair grew into long streams of red and white.
His body grew taller and strong fire Qi revolved around his body. His eyes became red and blue and strong thunder boomed from his insides. His entire body was entirely covered by invisible wind currents.
Vermillion True Flame combusted around him as the temperature in the place suddenly rose till it became difficult for any lifeform to stay there. An omnipotent aura gushed from Lu Zheng like cascading waterfalls.
The proud and noble aura of the Vermillion Birds poured from every pore in Lu Zheng's body.
Zuo Xiuzhen saw him and thought she was looking at a god of fire and destruction.
"The Vermillion Bird Race" The Titan hissed. "And you dare ask me what I want in the main world? Did you dare to forget the oath your ancestors made eras ago!?"
Lu Zheng rolled his eyes: "What do you want from me?"
"I am Marvis of the Titan Race and as per Devil Lord Edu Shashou's request, I have come to kill you" The Titan replied.
Killing intent slowly diffused from Lu Zheng.
"My Titan Race is a race of battle hardened warriors that pleasure themselves by bathing in the blood of our enemies and fighting to the death. At the moment, your cultivation base is too low and you would die quickly in my hands. I'll give you a chance to reach the peak of Acquisition realm and the moment you do, I'll come fight you" Marvis smiled coldly.
His figure faded away like he was never there, like a vague silhouette. His space path abilities surely surpassed Lu Zheng's.
Lu Zheng controlled his bloodline power and returned to his normal appearance.
"The Titan Race?" Zuo Xiuzhen was curious. When Lu Zheng told her that his world was dangerous, she thought it was just per se but now, it was completely obvious that he meant it.
Lu Zheng smiled and began explaining the Titan Race to Zuo Xiuzhen.
The Titan Race was a powerful race with pure battle strength that rivalled that of the Four Regal Bloodlines. They were battle hardened warriors that fought victoriously during the First Great War. Even after they secured their territories, they still fought the experts of the Four Regal Bloodlines for sheer fun.
During the Second Great War where the human race surprised the world by their sheer numbers of experts, the Titan Race was beaten back and like the Four Great Regal Bloodlines, forced into seclusion.
The reason the Titan Race could fight the Four Regal Bloodlines without fear was because they were almost impossible to kill.
Even if a Titan's body was crushed into mincemeat and his soul was blown into millions of fragments, the Titan could still return to life after some time.
Lu Zheng knew that the Titan Race abided by their oaths and Marvis completely meant it when he said he would find Lu Zheng in the future.
Even so, Lu Zheng wasn't terrified or even perturbed.
"A chance to reach the peak of Acquisition realm? You might regret that"
