In the main world, David floated in a circle about a point as he thought deeply. Many minutes had passed in the main world already.
"Brian still says that his death mark is here but there are no signs of Lu Zheng. I've used my methods but I can't sense him at all. What are we missing?"
David frowned as he massaged his temples. If he was a space path expert being chased by nine hostile Acquisition realm experts, what would he do?
After a while, David answered himself: "I am a space path martial warrior. I would simply leave the area of their influence. Spatial travelling is Lu Zheng's strength"
"Sigh. But that doesn't seem to be the case here" David sighed helplessly.
"Hmm!?" David was stunned. He could sense a subtle fluctuation in space.
The moment he sensed it, David did not let it go. His vision changed and he could see the spatial nodes and gaps around him.
"A spatial tear!" David exclaimed loudly.
Using his space path methods, he forced the spatial tear open and a spatial passage the size of a fragment of a fingernail formed before him.
Old Chao and the others noticed the space path aura emanating from the spatial passage.
"You did it" Old Chao was pleased.
Before anyone else could speak, Brian flew into the spatial passage. He had faced Lu Zheng and watched Louis die. He had to atone for his mistakes.
"Let's go in!" Andrew said after Brian went in. shortly after Brian went in, Andrew followed.
As soon as Brian entered, the head of a dragon obscured his vision completely.
"Why is there a dragon here?" Brian immediately used his strongest defensive technique.
A thick layer of blades enveloped his body as the dragon spat out streams of Vermillion True Flame.
The blades cut the flames as Brian wisely retreated. He knew he had been ambushed. Despite being hit by the streams of fire for barely a second, the wisps of crimson flames on Brian's body refused to die out.
"This is a Mystical Flame?" Brian noticed his error as fear dawned on him. He now understood the flame that was burning him.
It was the strongest Mystical Flame with the highest yang attribute – the Vermillion True Flame!
"Shit!" Brian swore as he directly cut the skin on fire, mutilating himself. As he did so, the Fire Dragon approached him and swiped its tail at him.
"Gboom!"
The impact was strong and Brian was flung many metres away. The worst part was that his skin was now burning with Vermillion True Flame again. His blade path defensive methods were useless!
After Lu Zheng used the second Life Blood Crystal, his Vermillion Bird Race bloodline had improved by many leaps. The strength of his Vermillion True Flame had also transformed.
Brian did his best to suppress the Vermillion True Flames on his body as he flew away from the Fire Dragon. He was planning on waiting for the rest of the Death God's Legion.
"Where is Andrew?" Brian gazed around frantically. He knew that Andrew had entered after him but he was nowhere to be found. He did not know that time in the individual realm was incredibly slow.
Brian was faster than the Fire Dragon so Lu Zheng created the Lightning Deity to support the Fire Dragon. At the same time, another Fire Dragon burnt into existence.
As for him, he stayed hidden with Zuo Xiuzhen on the green patch of land. Brian could not see them at all.
The Lightning Deity was incredibly swift and was made of purple astral thunderbolts. Brian did not dare ignore it.
The two Fire Dragons were also extremely strong. It did not take too long for Brian to understand that this was Lu Zheng's doing.
Even if he knew, there was nothing he could do. He had to continue fighting or he would undoubtedly lose his life here.
This was the proficiency of cultivating many paths. Soul path allowed Lu Zheng to easily split his soul consciousness and focus on many things at once. Lightning path gave him a great burst in speed and fire path had high battle strength.
Most people could not replicate what Lu Zheng did. Using so many techniques would increase Qi and Essence expenditure and there was a natural conflict between most paths.
Others weren't like Lu Zheng who had First's fragmented Qi fruit and Darmian's inheritance to balance dao imprints of different paths. His dao imprint accumulation was exceedingly deep and most did not come from tribulation.
Others would have died during their tribulations if they were Lu Zheng.
There was also the consumption of soul foundation and soul energy but Lu Zheng had the Soul Absorbing Gem and the Sea of Nirvana. His soul path dao imprints were a hundred and twenty seven.
The only way others could do this was to accumulate soul path cultivation resources like soul cores and soul stones but they needed the strength from varying paths.
Using battle strength to get resources to improve battle strength to get more resources, it was an unending cycle.
Lu Zheng was lucky to have inherited many inheritances in this lifetime and did not have to start from scratch. He was building on the hardwork of others.
From the start, Lu Zheng did not allow Brian space to use his true battle strength. He was on the receiving end from the very beginning.
Eventually, Brian's defensive methods were broken and the Fire Dragon's killed him. His soul was immediately absorbed by the Soul Absorbing Gem.
