Chapter 232: Visiting Na Clan
Lu Zheng sat in his spirit carriage with Na Yuxi and the rest of the Na Clan youngsters. The spirit carriage flew swiftly through the sky of Southern Border as the youngsters poked their heads into the billowing winds. The sensation of moving through the air at great speeds was very amazing.
Na Yuxi giggled hard till her ribs shook. Lu Zheng was very funny.
"He actually tried fighting inside the Regional Qi Wall?" Na Yuxi stifled her laughter. She had a bright smile as she imagined how the grand walls of heaven Qi that bound the regions and separated them looked like.
"Hmph! Na Yuxi, you can't possibly believe this man. How can there be such a grand thing in this world?" Na Liu Gan scoffed.
"Hmm. I agree with Liu Gan, this geezer is only spouting nonsense" Na Dong Bai buttressed Na Liu Gan. They were natural enemies but they worked well together to fight the common enemy that was Lu Zheng.
"Who are you calling a geezer? I'm not even thirty years old yet" Lu Zheng's face twitched in annoyance. Ever since he had started speaking with Na Yuxi, the two men had been speaking against him.
Lu Zheng used his soul path methods and implanted images in Na Yuxi's mind. They were images of many of the places Lu Zheng had seen in his two lifetimes.
"This…" Na Yuxi was awed. Merely the sizes of the Regional Qi Walls were enough to shock even the most inert people. They were like colossal figures that extended to touch the heavens.
There were also many images of many realms that Lu Zheng had seen personally. Na Yuxi was surprised.
Na Liu Gan and Na Dong Bai exchanged gazes. They knew that Lu Zheng had done something amazing to make Na Yuxi react in this way.
In all their lives, they could count the times they had made Na Yuxi smile with the fingers on one hand but Lu Zheng had done the same within moments.
Something had to be done.
When Lu Zheng's gaze locked with theirs, a cold feeling ran the length of their spines. It was as if they were teetering above the maw of the greatest abyss. One wrong move and they would fall to their deaths.
"Scary" Both men gulped in fear. Their attraction towards Na Yuxi had almost rendered them retarded that they dared to forget the difference between themselves and Lu Zheng.
Even still, Na Liu Gan and Na Dong Bai did not give up. Their lines of thought were similar: "This senior likes to travel. He'll be gone after collecting the Clear Yin Ice of our Na Clan"
They did not know that Lu Zheng had contrary plans.
Soon, the spirit carriage approached a different mountain range. The mountain range was completely different from the mountain range that Bai Xi Mountain was in.
Water ran in streams from the mountains into large valleys that formed great bodies of water. Many forests and sand plains were also in the mountain range with various types of beasts. The ecology of the mountain range was exceedingly developed.
The spirit carriage picked up speed as Lu Zheng controlled it. He soon reached the base of a peculiar mountain.
The mountain was made of white sand entirely from top to bottom and a large Qi pool ran from the peak of the mountain to the valley around it. The mountain was smaller than Bai Xi Mountain but on Earth, it would be incredibly famous.
"This is White Earth Mountain" Na Yuxi introduced the place to Lu Zheng as the spirit carriage slowed down. It slowly moved across the side of White Earth Mountain to where Na Village was.
Na Yuxi explained the structure of White Earth Mountain to Lu Zheng. There were four clans on the mountain; Na Clan, Qin Clan, Ma Clan and Ge Clan and they all opposed each other. The only times the four clans worked together was to defend the mountain against beast tides.
Qin Clan was the strongest clan on White Earth Mountain. They had two Void Passage realm experts and lived closest to the peak of the mountain. They were the owners of the small scale resource point – white mud brook.
Ma Clan and Ge Clan had one Void Passage realm expert each and they were weaker than Qin Clan. They mainly cultivated wind path and earth path respectively.
Na Clan did not have any Void Passage realm expert. Their Clan Head was Na Yuxi's father and he was at the peak of Sky realm and cultivated ice path. It was because of him that Na Yuxi had left the Clan to search for Snow Crystal Essence.
The three clans lived on the sides of White Earth Mountain and barely interacted with each other. They held competitions against each other and on every occasion, the competitions ended bitterly.
The only way the four clans of White Earth Mountain were connected to the outside world was the yearly caravan that came to the mountain to sell cultivation materials and artifacts and pills.
Lu Zheng paid keen attention to Na Yuxi's words even though he had soul searched her before. He already knew the internal structure of White Earth Mountain.
