Chapter 236: I Agree With External Elder Lu

Immortal Star had a wave of nausea as he appeared in the main world. He was floating in the space before where the formation that led into the aperture fragment was.

His gaze was complex as he stared at the glacier that formed the precipice of Bai Xi Mountain. He could not comprehend how such a place existed.

"Bai Xi Mountain… Southern Border… the Regional Qi Walls, the main world, this place is full of wonders. Yet, I am only a small insignificant speck of it. The only way I can do justice to my dao title is by cultivating to the peak and becoming an Immortal"

Immortal Star's eyes glistened as he flew in a random direction. He did not like to cultivate in places where others could easily find him.

Thunder clapped vigorously as two figures collided in the air. One was a feral beast that was like a panther. It was unbelievably large and its fur was a faint mixture of blue and white. Its claws dug into the earth as it moved and thunder clapped when it lunged into the air.

The aura of a wild rank seven beast emanated from its body.

The other figure was a man. He was tall and slender with skin pure like jade and pupils like the bottomless abyss. His hair cascaded behind him like a waterfall of silky darkness and his red robes fluttered in the wind. The auras of different paths swivelled around his body as he moved.

He was Lu Zheng.

Both figures clashed hundreds of times in a moment before separating. The rank seven beast panted greatly as it stared at the man before it. Its body was already covered with injuries and its claws were oddly shaped.

Lu Zheng stared at the rank seven beast before him. His body was covered with faint scratch marks that healed at visible rates. Many thoughts clashed in his head.

~This Thunderbolt Panther is exceedingly swift and has a strong burst of attacks that I can barely keep up with. But, its body is weak and is easily fatigued after fighting for long periods. It is already on its last legs~

The Thunderbolt Panther growled and snarled, thunder boomed loudly from its body. In an instant, it pounced towards Lu Zheng.

Lu Zheng's gaze was calm as afterimages formed. With a single step, he avoided the beast.

"Growwl!"

More thunder boomed as the Thunderbolt Panther kept on attacking Lu Zheng but the latter just kept dodging it. Soon, it became weary.

Lightning Essence moved into Lu Zheng's legs and his form flickered. In the next moment, he punched the Thunderbolt Panther in the head.

The Thunderbolt Panther gritted its teeth in pain and its eyes rolled into their sockets. Without any struggling, it fainted to the ground.

"Huff" Lu Zheng panted. He moved quickly and used Mei Luan to kill the beast and cut its meat apart. He stored the bones and tendons, they could be used to refine high grade artifacts and weapons.

What was left was burnt into nothingness by the Vermillion True Flame. Lu Zheng used his Sea of Consciousness and soon, he left the spot where he was. He had seen more rank seven beasts.

The meat of rank seven beasts was high grade and contained sufficient refined fleshy energy. When Lu Zheng consumed them, his bloodline power was restored and over time, it even improved.

Time passed slowly in the lightning aperture fragment but in the main world, five months had already gone by.

Southern Border, White Earth Mountain, Na Village

The Na Clan Sky realm elders were gathered in a hall, their expressions were extremely tense. Na Li Yang sat in silence beside Lu Zheng as his mind sifted through the information in the three information path artifacts in his hands.

"Qin Clan has already gathered their forces. They'll be attacking us in a month's time"

"Ge Clan and Ma Clan have decided to join forces with Qin Clan but they will not attack us before Qin Clan moves. The three Clans plan to divide Na Clan amongst themselves"

The Sky realm elders listened silently as Na Li Yang spoke. Some had their heads bowed and others seemed frustrated. Nobody said anything until Na Li Yang was done.

"Li Yang, what do we do?" One of the elders spoke.

"Qin Clan is too strong. They have two Void Passage realm experts. Ge Clan and Ma Clan also have one Void Passage realm experts each"

"We cannot even escape. Ma Clan and Ge Clan already have spies monitoring our movements. At this rate…"

The elders spoke one after the other as Na Li Yang listened. Since Na Li Bo had gone into seclusion, Na Li Yang who had peak of Sky realm cultivation base was acting as the Clan Head.

Lu Zheng shook his head and spoke: "Why doesn't Na Clan fight back?"

The elders turned their gazes to Lu Zheng.

"What do you mean? Qin Clan alone is enough to batter the entire Na Clan tens of times over" An old Sky realm expert sneered.

"They also have that old demon, Qin Jie that cultivates enslavement path. He is at the peak of Sky realm and has great battle strength. When he moves, not many people can stop him. Do you think you alone are enough to stop hundreds of beasts?" Another elder scoffed.

The elders spoke together in cohesion against Lu Zheng. It was as if they had already planned to speak against the man.

Suddenly, the doors of the hall barged open and cold air filled the place. Strong ice Qi that froze the walls and caused the elders to shiver flowed in.

A deep voice spoke coldly: "I agree with External Elder Lu"
