Gu Clan and Xiong Clan were allies. Gu Ao and Xiong Ba led their clansmen to attack the weak rank seven beasts together. Eventually, Yi Clan and Dong Clan also discovered the secret of the aperture fragment.
Sadly, much time had been wasted. Lu Zheng and the others had hidden the matter for over twenty days, there was not much time to enjoy this benefit.
An Yin's mood was extremely joyful. During this time, he had broken through to the third tier of Original realm. He was not the only one to show such a growth.
Yu Er Dan, Cangxiang Zihan and Zheng Lie broke through to the first tier of Original realm and the Acquisition realm experts made minor breakthroughs.
Lu Zheng was also pleased. Other than the fragmented Qi fruit, he now had seven Qi fruits and an eighth one was already forming on his Qi tree. He had broken through from the first tier of Acquisition realm to the third tier of Acquisition realm.
It was an unprecedented development.
Lu Zheng was not surprised. He had the complete inheritance of Reverend Spectral Demon and his soul foundation was exceedingly high. His meridians could absorb large amounts of ambient Qi without wasting much. His cultivation efficiency was far higher than that of most people.
"It is time we challenged the S grade encampment"
"Brother Ao, they are moving towards the S grade encampment" Gu Jie, the woman that had praised Gu Ao before said.
"I know. Inform the Xiong clansmen, we will intercept those bastards"
Gu Jie nodded before moving away. In a few breaths of time, she had disappeared from Gu Ao's range of vision.
Gu Ao's expression twisted into anger as he gritted his teeth: "Eight Extremities Palace, I swear on my cultivation, I will exterminate your young talents in this secret realm"
Reverend Divine Prime Jade's aperture fragment was mostly grasses that grew to the waist level of the Eight Extremities Palace martial warriors. The grass was so thick that it was impossible to see what was inside it.
Lu Zheng used his Sea of Consciousness to probe the grass as they moved. From the twenty days they had spent together, they had learned to trust Lu Zheng's scouting abilities.
A few rank seven beasts were inside the grass. Horned Tail Serpents slithered through the soil lithely and Crystal Cocoon Beetles borrowed into the blades of the grass. Many of these beasts were impossible to sense but Lu Zheng's Sea of Consciousness was very strong. He could see them as clear as daylight.
Many rank eight beasts also roamed the aperture fragment. Many of them were well hidden but Lu Zheng's Sea of Consciousness had a large range, he could sense them beforehand. Yet, some of the beasts could not be avoided.
The martial warriors fought with the rank eight beasts and killed them as they moved. A single rank eight beast was equivalent to an Original realm expert but in truth, the battle strength of a rank eight beast was greater than that of an ordinary Original realm expert.
It was only races that had stronger life ratings that were stronger than equally ranked beasts.
After countless fights, An Yin's team reached the gates of the S grade encampment. Rather than calling it an encampment, it was more of a fortress.
"How is this for only sixteen people? Even a hundred people can fit in here" Yu Er Dan gazed at the large fortress that loomed over them.
The gates of the encampment were towering that they seemed to touch the skies. The walls of the encampment spread out of their ranges of vision and many rank eight beasts rested before them.
Even though it was large, only sixteen people would be allowed to enter the encampment at a time. This was a rule set by Byron.
The fifteen martial warriors sat down to rest and refill their Qi fruits. Lu Zheng also joined them. He may have used the Essence from the fragmented Qi fruit but his body was already worn out.
He had not had a wink of rest for the last twenty days and during this time, he was thoroughly engaged in fighting high ranking beasts. He was quite tired.
Just as they rested, a group of people surrounded them. Killing intent that was thicker than steel oozed from every pore of their bodies.
An Yin regarded these people and his pupils shrunk: "Gu Ao"
