Lu Zheng dropped his tea cup to the table and made to stand up: "Your tea is truly splendid and I am delighted to have been able to enjoy it. Yet, I must leave for my clan. It has already been three months since I left them"

The Palace King frowned slightly as he gazed at Lu Zheng in surprise. An Yin looked up from his tea and even East Extremity stopped reading his book.

"Clan?"

Lu Zheng smiled inwardly as he thought: "Bait taken"

"I see" The Palace King said with a faint sigh. This information changed everything.

"My Na Clan is too small, we cannot even dream of making enemies with the grand Eight Extremities Palace. How about this, we share the inheritance ground with your Palace and in return, you provide strength for us in our time of need" Lu Zheng said with a faint smile.

The Palace King scrutinised the man before him. He felt like there was a hidden trap but he could not see it. At the end, he gave up and replied: "If that is all, then I agree to this alliance. But, can you tell me why you need the strength of my Eight Extremities Palace?"

Lu Zheng did not hide it: "Inside the aperture fragment, we clashed with the three clans; Gu Clan, Xiong Clan and Dong Clan and they incurred many losses, particularly Xiong Clan. It is only natural that they will target me, a lone martial practitioner that received the coveted inheritance"

"I see" The Palace King sighed before breaking into a bout of laughter. "Those old croons. I have long since wished to eliminate them. If them making enemies with your Na Clan is the only way then I cannot refuse such an opportunity"

Lu Zheng smiled as he gazed at East Extremity and An Yin who watched their conversation with interest: "Then let us make an alliance agreement"
