Dancing Cadavers

These bodies lay six feet under the ground,

Dirt and pebbles cover the caskets,

The spirits face joy and feel at ease

They jig promptly.

The banshees scream delightfully,

These children dance quickly,

They bounce and run like it's a wild safari.

The living carries yellow roses,

Mourners lower the bouquet

The petals darken,

These ghosts levitate and dance quietly.

.

"Now, these energies float freely,

Have you forgotten that your rival may be the banshee?

The yellow roses slit your throat,

Now, you choke on your blood —

You're lifeless,

Where is the life-force that can heal your wounds?"

Help me, moon!

"You may not see everything,

But imagine living the thought,

That all is reborn and haunting your pot?"

I teach the ghouls the frightening steps,

Do you hear their booming sound effects?

.

"Now, these energies float freely,

Have you forgotten that your rival may be the banshee?"

My enemy was the seed,

She has dug a hole,

The Lily of the Valley covers her path,

The sunlight cannot revive her act.

The sun cannot grant her survival,

The moon will not heal her troubles,

She's stuck living amongst her venomous petals.

.

I punish myself,

Shame holds me like ropes

Roses become cacti,

Puncturing my goals.

I am close,

Hurry, touch the sun and go!

The Principality attacks my well-fed leaves,

My chlorophyll will dull out and sting.

Her disorder makes me feel like I am a dead body,

So, I jig along to the cadaver dance,

"You may not see them,

To you, they're nonexistent,

But they never leave.

Do you hear the banshee?"
