631

This unfamiliar building is one that I enter

I get a notification from a 631 number,

This 631-area code is hers,

She has called from her old number.

This friend may not be dead,

I figure that her death was nothing but a test.

.

I awaken, and realize that my friend visited me,

She does this promptly,

I see her every day,

Even if no one else senses her display.

I can never be the same,

"How do you change?"

.

My minds still triggered from the loss,

People did this to us.

My body binds the blood

As I shed my young self.

I crave the affection

Where sisterly love has been banished.

.

No one shall receive this perfection,

As these tyrants ruin the lines,

And kill those that are fine.

My friend makes herself known,

I feel her soul —

I see her every day,

Even if no one else senses her display.
