(MC POV)
I was awoken by the smell of food wafting through my nose. My eyelids slowly lifted as I saw a figure entering the room with a plate in hand.
Half of me at the time still didn't want to wake up, but the enticing smell of a certain fatty meat seemed to vitalize a part of me. I opened my eyes and involuntarily yawned as I stretched my body out a bit.
Soon a plate landed on my lap with clear breakfast foods. A couple eggs fried just on one side preserving the pristine orange orb within a smooth white surface. A couple slices of toast pre-applied with a few small dabs of butter.
Finally, the last item on the plate was the one emitting the very smell that woke me up in the first place. Of course there was a satisfying amount of the crispy meat with its distinct long and curvy silhouette.
The bacon on the plate was the final item of this breakfast plate trifecta. Each food was arranged delicately, almost so well that I didn't even want to eat and ruin it.
"Good morning Ethan! You like my little surprise?"
"Racheal, I love you."
With that I took the plate and started to enjoy the meal that she, no doubt, had made with love.
"What!... You can't just say that all of a sudden!"
"Why not? Aren't we together now? It was your idea too wasn't it?"
"Y-yes, but I'm just getting used to it. Is the food good?"
"Yeah, it's great, thanks!"
After I ate we decided to just hang out for the rest of the day. It was the weekend after all, or well the final day of it anyway. Tomorrow though I'd have to go back to work, it wasn't going to be bad, probably.
Throughout the rest of the day we played games and we had a few informative conversations here and there.
Originally she had come here purely for college and it just so happens that the college she was heading to was the exact same one I currently went to. Our majors were different, but it happened that we still managed to appear in a couple classes.
Since she was new, we decided that I would give her a tour of the campus when we had some free time. We wouldn't really even have to think about that right now. There were still a couple weeks before classes started.
"Ethan, is the campus really big?"
"It's decently sized, might take a little while if you really want to explore it in a single day."
I asked what she would do with that new apartment if she just kept coming over to my place. She decided to keep the space at least for a while longer before probably moving everything she has over to mine.
"It's more space to store shit though isn't it? Besides, what happens if you start to get tired of me since I would constantly be within your reach?"
"What? What kind of man do you think I am? Did you already forget the kind of conversation we had immediately when we spoke yesterday?"
"Hmm, maybe. I think you might be a bit of an easy man to acquire, to be honest. It didn't even take one whole day to convince you to start dating me."
"Wha-? I-... you're different! At least I've known you for a long time!"
"Hehe, so you would take anyone you know as long as you "knew them" for a while?"
"You know, you're starting to make me think I've picked the wrong choice. You couldn't tease me about being a virgin anymore so you gotta tease me about being an easy pick up?"
She wrapped her arms around me and gave me a nice hug, what brought it all together was the soft pillowy feeling that was currently enveloping my right arm. Mentally, I had already forgiven her, but physically I turned away a little to make it last longer.
"Hehe, come on! I'm just messing with you!"
She occasionally prodded me with questions about Hannah, my boss, or just other female friends I had.
"Do you have any other women who contact you?"
I could feel the slight protective and possessiveness from within her voice. It made me feel wanted and I thought the tinge of jealousy she had was cute.
"No, why are you so worried about other women? Aren't we together?"
"Yeah, but you're too easy! Other women are mean, you don't understand how bad they can be. They will lure you away into their little trap and eat you up!"
"That's ridiculous, isn't this usually the type of thing women say about men? Women are usually more reserved, with exceptions like you, and they won't just approach me like that.
Well, unless they're prostitutes I guess, but why would I ever use that kind of service? Especially when I have someone already so loving and beautiful right next to me?"
A deep blush appeared on her cheeks as she looked away in embarrassment for a moment. Then she turned back with a confident look, though that was negated to me since her blush was still going strong.
"Oh yeah? Is that so? Then when will we be performing those kinds of "services" together?"
"You seem eager, well then how about now?"
I said with a flirtatious smile and soon I scooped up one of her breasts and rubbed her nipple over her clothes.
She let out a light yelp as she looked at me with a slight tremble, though she made no attempt to move away from my hand.
"A-ah! I don't think we should do it yet! Let's make it a more special night to do it!"
Light breaths sounded out from her as I continued rubbing her sensitive little protrusion.
"Alright, it's your choice, I won't force you."
…
At the end of the day she decided to sleep at my place once more and in the morning made me breakfast once more. The whole morning she acted like a loving wife and she even wanted to make me my lunch for the day, but I had something already prepared. She tried convincing me, but I insisted on taking it so in the end she just sent me off with a kiss and a wave.
..
With my backpack and lunchbox I headed to turntables like every other day I've been here. And just like every other day a similar series of events occur as well.
*Bwoom*
I pressed my ID against the scanner and the green light appeared followed by that electronic sound and soon the glass doors swung open again too.
"Ethan, have a good weekend? You look happier than normal."
"Yeah, great in fact! I recently reunited with a childhood friend. Anything exciting happen to you over the weekend, Robert?"
"I had some barbeque with my family, that was pretty good, but I'll send you on your way now."
"See ya Robert!"
At the elevator that I normally take I noticed someone standing nearby, leaning against the wall. It was Hannah and soon she spotted me approaching to which she immediately pressed the call elevator button. It was quite clear that she was waiting here for me to arrive.
Soon her excited voice could be heard nearby as she bombarded me with questions with an inquisitive and slightly demanding tone.
"Ethan, you're here! You have to tell me the details! Who is she?! How did you meet her!? When did you meet her!? I want to know everything!"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa Hannah calm down a little! Just ask me one at a time, it's not like you're on a time limit."
She took a big deep breath of air before she started talking again. At that moment the elevator opened and we went in, luckily no one else came in and it was just us two.
"So, how did you meet her?"
"I actually met her a long time ago, 6 or so years, long before I knew you actually. We were childhood friends so we went way back. We were separated for a long time, before coincidentally she happened to move next to me. I'll tell you a bit about our first interaction after your questions, I think it's kinda funny."
"Is that right? When exactly did she move next to you?"
"Oh, my bad! I forgot to say that. It was only 2 days I think, on Saturday she was officially in, but her apartment has basically nothing in it right now."
"I-is that so? Well isn't it a little too soon to immediately start dating? What if she's completely different from what you once thought about her?"
"To be honest I did get a little swept up in the moment, but it wasn't like we didn't actually have any connections before. We connected instantly again too as if we had never left our childhood so it's a good start so far. And apparently we were both in love with each other when we were younger, but we were both too shy to confess, can you believe that?"
Her expression was distorted a bit as I mentioned that we loved each other, but I just took it as her disbelief of our shy nature.
"Well alright, but whatever you do just remember I'm here! Don't you dare abandon me alright!?"
She said with a little pout as she then started to attack me by shanking me with her hands.
"Argh! Hey! Stop it!"
I grabbed each of her wrists in either hand then tried my best to combine them into one hand. She, of course, struggled and I tried my best to contain both her hands as I used my now free hand to shank her back.
"Ahh!"
*Ding*
I only managed to get a couple hits in as the elevator door opened to a figure staring at us with a dark expression. I had a sense of foreboding looking at Emma as she saw us. It really didn't look good for me at the moment, in fact I bet if it was some stranger I'd immediately be called some kind of molester or something.
I didn't quickly retract my hands since I felt it would only make her further think I was doing something wrong to the point I needed to hide it. Slowly I lowered them to my sides.
Emma was especially quiet at the moment and neither Hannah nor I wanted to make a sound. It was different from most of the other times she caught us by the elevator, but I couldn't tell why. The only thing I could even slightly discern was the fact that Emma's cold eyes lingered on Hannah for a while. I felt like she reacted as soon as she knew that I noticed.
"Hannah, be on your way. Ethan, follow me to my office, immediately."
"Mrs. Emma, Ethan didn't do anything wrong. I started it!"
Emma squinted at Hannah and at that moment her gaze seemed especially cold to her.
"Be. On. Your. Way, Ms. Hannah."
Hannah stood silent for a second before leaving with a goodbye wave toward me to which I returned
When she left our sight Emma started walking away and I followed after her. The entire time I was trailing behind her not a word was spoken between us which I felt only solidified the tension.
The only thing that slightly alleviated it was the fact that I was walking behind her. I could slightly distract myself by watching her walk forward, but my gaze started to focus on a certain part of her.
A hypnotic sway of her derriere took my focus away, but perhaps it took just a bit too much focus away as when she eventually stopped I almost slammed into her.
I saw her head turn slightly back towards me, but then she simply unlocked the room and went in. I felt my heart froze for a second when she turned, but whether it was because she didn't notice or she just wasn't in the mood to speak I didn't know. Thinking more optimistically I went with the former.
'Why did I even look at her like that?! Didn't I just get a girlfriend?! I must stop these disloyal thoughts!'
With my thoughts occupying my mind I didn't realize I was simply standing in the doorway like an idiot.
"Come in Ethan, today you'll be working the entire day in my office with me."
'Oh? We're going to be doing something different? Well I'm all for it!'
"Yes, Mrs. Emma."
At my words I saw her mouth twitch into a slight frown.
