Chapter Ninety Two: A Strange Place

Velma's eyes fluttered open, only to be immediately assaulted by a blinding, ethereal white light. She winced, closing her eyes briefly to shield them from the searing brightness. Slowly, she opened them again, squinting as her vision adjusted.

As she attempted to sit up, a sharp pain shot through her head, and she realized with a jolt that she had hit it against a smooth, transparent surface. She frantically reached out, her hands colliding with the cool, unyielding glass that surrounded her. Panic surged within her as she took in her confinement—a glass box, just like the others that filled the room.
