Chapter Ninety Seven: The Fairy

Peri and Meredith had their tea the next day and from that point onward they became friends. They would dress up as noble women and go to the theatres and laugh as people made way for them; they went to local fairs and dances and one time a lord believed they were women of high class that he sent an invitation to ladies Penelope and Fae to his private ball which they attended, danced the night away, stole the hearts of all the young men present and vanished from polite society. They even made their way to the gossip columns once as the writer described them as the mysterious lady Penelope and lady Fae. They befriended high ranking women and knew of secrets only peculiar to the highest class of people in Aysun. So Peri began to enjoy her stay as human in Aysun neglecting the reason she had come and not missing one bit of her throne in the fae kingdom whence she had come from. She did not even miss doing magic!
