It was not until the next day's dim light spilled into the musty room that a weary servant shuffled in, bearing a tray of meager fare. Accustomed to lavish banquets and exquisite dishes, the young Dana found the simple meal before her to be a stark contrast. Nevertheless, hunger gnawed at her stomach, driving her to consume what little sustenance her restraints allowed.

As she nibbled on the lackluster food, a sense of resignation settled upon her. The realization that no one was coming to her aid weighed heavily on her heart, casting a shadow of despair over her confinement.
