Chapter One Hundred & Thirty Two: Nonsense Prophecies

"I did not think of a single thing."

"You did," was the reply that was a groan. "Your mind Velma," there was another groan. "Is a powerful tool."

"Have you been the one?" Velma questioned, shock over taking her countenance at the words Evgenikós had uttered. She had always thought that perhaps the moon goddess spoke to her.

"What?"

"The voice... In my head." She stared at Evgenikós, lines of confusion etched on her face. "I keep hearing it... My mind is a powerful tool."

"I am not in your head."

"But the voice... It..."

"Have you gone mad?" Evgenikós was saying standing up slowly. She gave a yawn and shook her head at Velma. "What voice do you speak of?"

What child does not know the voice of their mother?

Velma closed her eyes. The voice was there again; a tingling sensation traveling through her head. "So it is you, Celeena," she mumbled.
