Chapter One Hundred & Fifty-One: The Mad Princess II

It started with an itch, then it became a rash. Dana had the physician give her an ointment to help with the itch but while it soothed the itch temporarily it did not make the rash go away. The rash started to give her concern when it began to spread. At first it had only been on her upper arm but it had spread to her entire hand in the space of a week. It got to a point where the ointment stopped relieving the itch and it became unbearable for Dana even more so because she had to appear sane before her courtiers. She could not understand what was happening to her. All efforts by her physicians to cure the itch failed so she consulted Maha. Maha examined her and said, "there is no cure Queen, you are under a curse."

"A curse?"

"Yes, and this is only the beginning," remarked Maha.

"The beginning? Priestess! I am going insane! I need this to stop," cried Dana.

"The great queen shall be mad without her king," returned Maha.
