Chapter One Hundred & Ninety Five: Something Dark

The creature roared out in pain as its blood sprayed out; clouding Velma's vision. Its scream reverberating through the forest. Slowly, it rolled away from Velma as it was to weak to attack or defend.

Velma stared at the animal in pain, a feeling of guilt clawing at her mind but her brutality was necessary for survival. She stood there, quivering in the wind as she wondered whether she should take the creature out of its misery and permanently end it's life, or leave it to bleed and then to die.

Her thoughts however were interrupted by the sight of the creature suddenly healing itself; and coming back bigger.

With panicky steps, she retreated backwards slowly and as she did that, she could feel something or someone crawling about her mind, trying to get in.
