Chapter Two Hundred & Four: The Return

From a distance, Velma could hear the ravenous howl of Dana; her claws scraping relentlessly at the iron bars she was caged in. Her howl was a pitiful mourn and then suddenly, it would change into that of untamed anger.

He opened a door and Velma stepped through. Her heart broke at how battered Dana's wolf looked, and a tear slipped down her face. That could have been her.

She finally let go of Artemis's mind and his eyes flashed an angry red colour.

"What did you do to me?"

"It is of no importance."

"You just—" Seeing that Artemis was going to prove difficult to her, she decided to take control of his mind once more.

Dana has gone silent now. She stared at Velma with uncertain eyes and inched closer, trying to put her head through the bars.
