Amelia Bergstrom is a twelve-year-old girl who has been locked inside houses for most of her life. She knows nothing about the outside world or anything about her family and what they do. But one fateful day when her mother dies, she has to take up the mantle of a zombie hunter and discover that she lives in a city populated with the undead.
