Ethan walked through the portal and appeared close to the palace.

He wasn't at the palace gates since, so he had to walk all the way to the gate, which was far ahead.

"Hey there, what business do you have?" The first guard that saw Ethan asked as she stopped him.

"I'm a guest of the princess, my name is Ethan, I came some..."

"Oh, forgive me, I have seen you in the palace before, when did you leave?" The guard asked and Ethan smiled without answering.

The guard didn't push the issue further and escorted Ethan back to the palace gates as there were both guards around. It was a long walk to the palace gates, but they finally arrived.

The guards at the gates opened it up, and Ethan passed through; he already knew his way around since this was his third time here, but instead of going inside the palace, Ethan walked around the palace instead.
