He kept staring at me awkwardly and I couldn't help but the think that he was not that bad.

I mean, he was way more attractive than James. And even though I tried to deny it deep down I knew I kinda liked him.

Oh right, i have some files to show you, he said and signaled for me to follow him to his office.

I did, and just as he was handing me the file, someone knocked on the door.

His personal assistant came in and informed him that one of the investors was here.

Let him in, Damien said and the assistant left.

Shortly after, the investor came in and I beyond shocked to see James walk in

He saw me too and his face became white as a ghost.

Damien noticed the tension between us and asked if I knew him and of course I told him the truth.

He's my ex, i said, looking at James with pure disgust.

Damien's mouth was wide agape as he stared at us.
