Chapter 1: Demon prince
"I know we are on opposing sides but i beg you Mael spare my child after all he is still an infant" a hoarse voice echoed in the dead factory. The man who spoke was on his knees as he begged another man who seemed to have a peculiar blinding light to his form he was known as Mael the Angel of war and the man who was on his knees now was the formidable demon prince and was Mael's greatest foe but now the demon prince was on his knees and begging his foe to spare his child not because he was outmatched but because he knew that what he had done would eventually catch up. His son was never supposed to be born and now that an entity like his son existed the realms would rise up against him even if he was to fight all of them he will but that would only lead to the inevitable death of his child he was truly outnumbered in this war.
Looking into the eyes of his Archenemy, Mael felt pity on his greatest rival he had been tasked by a Supreme deity to kill the child of the Demon prince for the child was never to be born.
"Helping you means i have to disobey the deities orders " Mael replied
"As you always are you will always be Mael " the prince replied
"What do you mean by that?" Mael asked angrily
"You always follow orders even though you don't know the reason behind those orders, I beg Mael help me you don't need to kill him " the demon prince begged
"Even if i don't kill him the other realms will not spare him how do you plan to save him when the Demon king comes for him " Mael asked
"That's why i need you to hide his essence no one will find him if his essence is hidden he would be like a normal human none of the realms will be able to find him like that"
"Hahaha seriously you want an entity of destruction to live in the human world very funny demon prince and you thought that i would agree to that fine i will help you but i have a condition and i will do it my way not yours " Mael said
"I know what you want Mael i wouldn't resist but i have a condition too " the prince replied
"You know what i want then pay up" Mael said as he buried his sword into the ground
" I want you to make sure that none of the realms suspect that he might be alive " the prince said with a stern expression
"Alright then wish granted" Mael said with a grin as he watched the prince walk towards two bodies that lay unconscious on the ground one was a lady who held onto a male child, kneeling before them the prince kissed both their foreheads
"Fine then " the prince said before stabbing his hands into his chest releasing a large ball of darkness from within his body
Seeing this Mael was shocked he never expected that the prince would one day give up his demon abilities and all this happen because he had a son who seemed like a threat to all realms
"Ahhhhhh" a loud scream echoed in the empty factory as the prince released his demon
Conjuring the lantern of Divine ray which was an Angelic artifact that contained godly light it was known to trap or destroy darkness it was mostly used by Mael to cage darkness and this time he was going to cage the abilities of the second strongest demon,as soon as the demon prince abilities where trapped the lantern's usual golden flame instantly turned dark due to the strength of the demon prince
"Now Mael your end of the bargain " the prince said with a strained voice
"Yes i will hide his essence but i will also seal his demon and block his lineage that way he would be considered human and none of the realms will know that he is still alive this way is much safer for everyone" Mael said with a grin
"What no Mael that is like robbing him of his main blood line" the prince said already vexed
"Hmm do i look like i care i will tell you i don't you think I don't know what you want a child with this much power in hand would reek havoc and cause chaos on all the realms and you expect me to leave the child in the human world with all his devastating powers not possible old foe don't worry no one will know his alive also i will hold on to this and i will guard it like it where my own " Mael said as he held onto the prince sword
"That isn't yours to take "the prince shouted angrily as he gathered the last strand of energy he had and got from the ground in an attempt to grab the sword back from Mael
"Hmm weakling" Mael sneered as he swung the sword at the prince
"Now you would see how your devastation really hurts" Mael said as darkness shrouded the sword in a devastating attack that immediately turned the demon prince to a pile of ash
"Hmm it really does hurt doesn't it, now back to business" Mael said as he turned around and faced the two unconscious beings on the ground.
Unsheathing his sword Mael aimed its tip at the child's forehead as a bright golden light shrouded his sword and his eyes shone a golden ray and his wings sprung up and the golden light was blasted into the child soon the golden light dissipated.
"What did you just do to my son" a feminine voice echoed in the factory
" where is my husband " she asked
"Aurora how are you?" Mael asked
" Answer me Mael what did you do to him?" Aurora asked already vexed
"He is dead you should know by now but at least i spared his son's life" Mael said looking at the dumbfounded expression on her face
"You know you can still come home He "
"Don't you dare finish that sentence Mael" Aurora said angrily
"Fine He knew you wouldn't agree so here a gift from Him " Mael said as he handed a necklace to her
" You would need it in the future " Mael said leaving the necklace on the ground next to her before flying away.
