Chapter 1: Beginning

'BAM'

"The next time you try that I'm going to shove you in the trash do you hear me Kieran" a huge black haired boy with a muscular frame his brown eyes stared at a scrawny Black haired kid who was at least six feet tall but still looked small in his hands as he held him up against the lockers in the hallway.

"Ha have they screwed with your head or something Gregory there won't be a next time this is the end of the term and we are final years to break it down for your little brain we are graduating" Kieran replied with a smug smile as he stared at the huge bully who has been making his life hell ever since he could remember Gregory has always picked on him just because he was one of the lesser beings as they called them people without an ability.

Humanity has come a long way ever since the discovery of abilities those who have abilities were able to do things we once thought were impossible but then they were still able to teach others how to use them through the form of abilities books that were been sold but in recent times ability books were only for the privileged and Kieran wasn't privileged to buy one as his parents had died in an accident leaving him without any living relatives and only a black box.

"Well since we will be graduating I might as well send you off properly" Gregory said as he readied a punch his hands turning into a rock and delivered a heavy punch straight to Kieran's face smashing him into the locker behind him.

"Uh hmph " Kieran grunted as he struggled to get back on his feet the top of his head was bust open as blood continued to pour down his head

"Huh maybe you do have an ability Kieran any other person would have been dead from that hit " Gregory said as he walked away leaving Kieran alone in the hallway

"Dead huh like you weak as punch can kill anyone " Kieran said as he eventually managed to get up from the ground and push himself towards the nurse's office before he truly died from loss of blood.

"Huh you again" the nurse said as Kieran entered her office with a bloody head

"Hi miss Bustier" Kieran called out as he walked over and sat on the bed opposite her

"It is Busvier not Bustier" she corrected him as she brought over her kit she was a brown haired lady with a fit figure her hazel eyes showed that she was a kind person who fitted the role of a nurse.

"What happened this time?" She asked as she searched her kit for medicine

"Gregory attacked me in the hallway like always and burst my head " he replied as she started applying medicine onto the wound as it was quite a deep wound

"Well what did you do to Gregory"

"Nothing I didn't do anything to him he just likes bullying and attacking those weaker than him"

"I know you Kieran you did something "

"Fine I called him a stone head during class it was only a joke" he replied

"You always seem to get yourself into trouble Kieran I only hope you don't endanger yourself too badly especially now that you're going to be attending a hunter academy they are people who you shouldn't mess with" she said as she finished attending to the wound and closing it up.

"Uhh good by miss Busvier" Kieran said as he walked out of the nurse's office

"He finally gets it right hmph" she said as a smile spread across her face.

Upon getting back to his little apartment that the government paid for as Kieran was an orphan the government took care of him and his finances due to his parents service as a government worker and dying on service the government took care of Kieran as he had no living relatives. Entering his room Kieran went straight to bed as he laid down to get some rest as tomorrow was going to be a good day for him tomorrow was the day he was going to go to Emperion hunter academy to train to be a hunter .

There were many things that had changed in the world of now such as the introduction of abilities and ability books, portals opening up to another world full of different beast the changes were huge that it affected the world government itself the world was drastically changing little by little technology had improved over time as beast crystal were now being used in creating terrifying weapons that hunters now used this hunters now make up the world government as it has become a world were the strong makes the rules. Emperion hunter academy was one of the four great Hunter academy.

Kieran was excited to become a hunter though due the the fact that he didn't have an ability it was going to be a though journey but that didn't mean he couldn't attend the Emperion hunter academy as he could still train to be a hunter and Kieran wasn't going to let that fact deter him from being a hunter
