59 Harrison's Confession

Kayla’s POV

When I opened my eyes again, the room plunged into darkness.

The only source of light came from the white snow outside, casting a faint glow through the colored glass into the black room.

"What time is it?" I asked, dazed, as I sat up on the bed, searching for my phone.

"Here it is." Harrison unlocked my phone, glanced at the screen, and handed it to me.

"It's already 3:22."

"So late," I rubbed my temples, still not fully recovered from exhaustion.

"Go back to sleep. I'll wake you up tomorrow." Harrison's voice sounded gentle and warm.

I turned to look at him. Sleep had shut down my brain for a few seconds, and then I remembered what had happened between Harrison and me last night.

I instinctively pulled the blanket up to cover myself.

"I don't want to see you suffocating under the blanket," a large hand pulled the blanket under my neck. "It's not our first time. There's nothing to be shy about."
