A few days passed, and Brian Hughes did not go anywhere, and spent every day guarding Peter Brown. This left Peter with no opportunity to use the Breath Soil to modify his meridians, as life energy kept pouring into the Breath Soil unceasingly.
Fortunately, Peter understood that the more life energy was infused, the higher the quality of the Breath Soil would be. After all, this was to his benefit, so he was not in too much of a rush.
"Sonny, have you noticed that there seem to be more wild animals recently? I caught several today alone."
Peter came in, holding a beast that resembled a wild ox.
At this, Brian Hughes also expressed his confusion, "Now that you mention it, I hadn't thought about it. There shouldn't be so many, what's going on?"
"No good, I need to find out. Divine Valley is almost ready for harvest, we can't afford any accidents."
While speaking, Brian Hughes rose and walked outside.
