CHAPTER 9

Olivia went into Cassie's ward and found her awake and she was happy.

She drop all she was carrying and went to hug her and ask how her body is now and Cassie replied she is perfectly okay.

"I am very sorry for what I did, I forgot to keep the rest of the pancakes when going out" Olivia apologized and Cassie replied.

"Don't be harsh on yourself, it's all my fault, I know I am allergic to pancakes and I still went ahead to eat it" Cassie said and Olivia was happy she isn't angry.

Olivia gave her food to eat and she ate and took her bath in the hospital's bathroom and change into a new cloth.

Olivia went to the doctor's office to ask if she can be discharged and he followed her to Cassie's ward and he did some check up.

After the check up he find out she is okay and fit so he told them she can go home and after some minutes they left for home.

They got out and couldn't find a cab quickly but they decided to wait a little more.

As they were waiting a car pass by and splash water on their body and this made them angry especially Cassie.

The car reversed back and Richard came out and apologize for what happened.

As he was apologizing Damon also came out of the car and he saw the situation of things and he spoke up.

"Don't apologize to this low-life bitches, why would they stand on they way and expect such not to happen" Damon said rudely and Richard turned to him to keep quiet but he played deaf ears.

Cassie got pissed off with his words and said to him

"Who are you to talk to people anyhow, just because you are rich does not mean you should treat the poor anyhow" she said.

Olivia was just at her back dropping over Richard and Damon.

Damon replied her saying

"If you really know who I am you will never talk to me that way"

"Who are you, you are just so full of yourself, did you think just because of this wheeler you call a car you can oppress people" Cassie fired back and they were all bewildered.

Damon move close to her to give her slap but he held himself from doing so and he went into the car angrily to avoid doing what he will regret and with is action Cassie began laughing saying

"You are just a chicken, talk without action" she said and they all burst into laughter except for Damon and Cassie.

Richard was amazed with the kind of lady she is and he thought in his mind that she will be able to make Damon happy again.

Richard beg Cassie not to be angry and he went into the car and they drove off.

CHAPTER 10 & 11

As Damon and Richard drove off Cassie and Olivia also board a cab and went home.

When they got home Olivia praise Cassie for what she did.

"They had to be put in their place, if not they will see the poor as nothing. Someone had to stand up to them" Cassie said.

"But they are really handsome, especially the rude one, how I wish that nice one could just make me his girlfriend" Olivia said and Cassie scoff and replied

"Though they are both handsome, but that cuteness is a waste, the rude one is just cute without brain, he is so full of himself" Cassie said and Olivia agreed with her.

As they were driving on the way. Richard told Damon that what he did was not good.

"We are the one at fault, you shouldn't have said all that to her, you should have just apologize it won't kill you" he said and Damon just nodded and continued driving.

Damon swore to deal with Cassie anytime he see her again.

Richard was surprised that someone could stand up to the great Damon without him doing anything that made him laugh and Damon feel like strangling him and when he saw Damon's expression he ran upstairs.

Cassie woke up the next morning stronger, she did her usual routine and dress up then went downstairs and couldn't see Olivia.

She went to the kitchen and saw a note on the cabinet saying

"I am sorry I didn't wake you up, I had an urgent thing to attend to at work" she finished reading it and took her breakfast began eating and went to work after.

Damon was in his office when his mother called and he picked it up and said.

"Hello mum, what did you want?"

"You don't even call me and when I call now, you are acting anyhow. Is it a crime to miss my son?" His mum said.

"Mum I am really busy that is why"

"Really busy to call your own mother?" She asked surprisingly.

"Anyways I just called to hear your voice and send my regards to your girlfriend and also when will you come home to visit me?" She asked

"I will come soon" he said and cut off the call.

Cassie was in her second working place when Olivia called and told her the reason she left without waking her in the morning and she understands.

They talk for some minutes before she cut off the call and continue her work.

Richard came into Damon's office and he sat down and they greeted in their usual way and said to him

"Damon your mum called me and discussed something with me and I think what she said is true, you need to get yourself a girl, forget about her and move on, all women are not the same"

"See if you don't have any other thing to say you can leave my office" Damon said.

"I remember that feisty girl, you can go for her, perfect match. You are rude, she is feisty, not bad" Richard replied him and Damon stood up pushing him out of the office and Richard began laughing till he leave the place.

Around 4pm in the evening, Damon left his office to meet with someone at an hotel for business and his name is Mr. Peters.

They were to meet by 3pm and he is one hour late so he rush into his car and drove off to the hotel in great speed.

He got to the hotel and came out of his car and he bumped into someone.

When he look up to see the person it turned out to be Cassie and they both look at each other with anger and Cassie said

"I can see you have become blind or is it your habit of bumping into someone, just don't cross my path again" Cassie said and Damon look at her angrily and left praying Mr. Peters is still around.

As he got to the room Mr. Peter was, he found him situated drinking a wine and he was happy, then he apologize for coming late.

Mr. Peters who is a patient man accept and they discuss what they came there for and they depart.

Cassie also left back to her working place and after she is done she went home but as she was going without checking her way a car almost bump into her and she stood there shocked, a woman came out of the car.
