With sadness written all over her face Merilyn nodded.Liam looked at Merilyn one more time before turning to his assistant Falcon and taking some papers from him.He put them on the table and passed it to Merilyn.She looked at him with a questioning look before taking the papers and going through them."What the hell is this supposed to be"Merilyn asked.Liam looked at her before replying "its a one year marriage contract and i will like you to marry me for just a year to get back at those two".Merilyn just stared at him as he continued "its just for a year and i will give you anything you desire except love".Merilyn still didn't know what to say or do."I'll give you up to tomorrow to decide till then take the contract home and read through it to make sure you get the full understanding"Liam said and without another word walked out of the restaurant with Falcon trailing behind him.Merilyn was still bewildered at this whole thing.'What the f*ck was this suppose to mean' she thought.She wanted to run after him and tell him no but she just decided to save her energy and call him like he called her.After a while Merilyn stood up and headed back to the office to complete some work before heading home.She arrived at Chalemét Co.Ltd and worked for a few hours till a little bit after sunset and headed home.She decided not to call the driver but drive herself.On the way there was a little traffic so from time to time she'll just think of Ivan and cry a little bit she already promised to get over him and wiped her tears.Ivan had been trying to reach her since yesterday but she decided she wanted to move on so she refused to talk to him.She thought of Liam's offer and realized it wasn't too bad and thought of accepting it.On getting home Merilyn stepped out of the car and headed in and run into Eulalie at the staircase."Oh if it isn't the cheap b*tch who was just dumped"Eulalie spat out shamelessly.Merilyn passed her a disgusted look and replied"you know what for someone who chooses to chase after and steal others things you really have a big mouth".Eulalie was utterly shocked at the words of Merilyn because Merilyn was always the nice sister who never once talked back despite her very rude behaviour."oh shut up he wanted me it's not my you're not as attractive as I am" Eulalie said.Merilyn just rolled her eyes and said "You're not worth my time before walking away to her room.
