CHAPTER 1

Life isn't fair for everyone, there are people who are born with all the benefits anyone needs for a golden life, then we have the other kind of people .. people like me !

Luck isn't part of our story .. and dreams just not for us 

We don't follow our dreams …we just flew with the flow 

And this is basically my story , I just graduated  from high school .. With a GPA of 92.3 , for my family it was a shock ..it's not too high to get me a scholarship in the finest universities but it's not too bad either .. They were in a conflict .

Mum saved the day hugging me with tears in her eyes saying congratulations you know tring not to hurt my feelings .. My dad on the other hand said : I need to lay down. I think my blood pressure lowered or something .. but he hugged me after a while so that i don't feel sad .. what a caring family! 

PARTY .. are you kidding me , it's too expensive and useless .. mum lowered the tone of her voice and said : you didn't even get the GPA we expected .

"It doesn't matter , I don't even like parties!" I thought 

ME on the other side sitting on my bed wondering .. what do i do now?

After two weeks under my rejection , but does it matter .. it's my mum's desire besides it's the only scholarship i got.. So let it be.

I'm not the one who has the money so .. I don't have any choice here , do i?

I handed all the papers to the college, took an extremely bad picture with their ancient camera .. then i took my ID and got back home .

First day .. fresh start ,, and…..

Rain 

Perfect .. maybe it's not a bad day after all , i love rain .. probably more than anything in my life , but i'm just not excited about this whole new beginning.

I headed to my closet .. pulled on jeans, high-neck white T-shirt and black long jacket.

I dressed up slowly.. As if i have all the time in the world , my mum screamed at me from the kitchen to hurry up , i released a sigh out of upset then i put on some jewels then i took my way down stairs.

You're late doctor Maya, could you be any faster , she smiled at me resentfully

I took a sip of my coffee, closing my eyes, enjoying every second with my own heaven!

Until my mum asked :" are you going to take the college bus?"

I answered while taking another sip: " no, i'll go in a taxi and i'll take the bus on my way home."

I finished my heaven , then I put on my boots in a hurry , " goodbye mum " I said,  then headed out.

I standed out looking at my new dream .. the only one i got .. it's either this or nothing" i said to myself.

It's funny that I had a dream last night where I got everything I wanted .. My true dream !

I smiled sympathetically then I put on my headphones, Billie Eilish playlist , taking my first steps in.

Physiotherapy Department 

This is my new start .. and it's so dark 

No, literally dark.. With no lights on , the power cut and with the rainy atmosphere it just made it darker .

I went in trying not to stumble , there's some people inside talking, and some of them asking if there was a malfunction.

Then a voice overwhelmed all the voices saying: "don't worry kids the power will be back soon .. Stay where you are."

I tried to find an empty spot to stay in it but Unfortunately for me .. i stumbled into something i don't even know what it was .. and i felt nothing under me .. no ground .. so i closed my eyes welcoming the ground and my first embarrassing situation.

Seconds passed .. and I didnt feel the ground embracing me! Instead I felt a strong arm holding mine .. and another arm catching my waist tightly preventing the epic fall.

I opened my eyes slowly ..praying to disappear during that.

As soon as I open my eyes .. I involuntarily opened my mouth .. all the voices around me stopped and stared at his eyes silently .. it was dark but they were extremely beautiful ..

It's only just a dream .. this can't be true

Is love that easy cuz i think i fell .. then why they said love is hard .. No, wake up Maya !

I closed my eyes then I shook my head lightly , it's only just a dream .. he will disappear as soon as you open your eyes.

I opened them again coinciding with the return of electricity .. and the lights , everyone looking at us .. so i guess he's real .. and so was my first embarrassing situation!
