As I looked up at him, he smirked mischievously. I thought to myself, "Oh Lord," and tried to get out of bed quickly. However, he was faster than I anticipated, and he pulled me back onto the bed and started tickling me playfully. I wiggled under his grasp, laughing uncontrollably as tears streamed down my face. I am laughing so hard that tears are running down my cheeks. 'Stop, Kevin, stop' I said while laughing. He had a smirk on his face and replied, 'Beg for me to stop, then.' I looked at him with teary eyes and said, 'Please, all-mighty King Kevin, let me go.' He looked shocked but ultimately let me go. I quickly moved away from him and started running. He looked up at me, then got up and began chasing me. I ran out of our bedroom with him following me. I went to the big ballroom but slipped a few times on the slippery floor. He laughed at me as I kept on slipping. I glared at him before running off. The night was beautiful. I was so mesmerized that I didn't notice I had slowed down. He caught up to me. I yelped when he lifted me from the ground. Looking down at him, I saw his beautiful eyes sparkle in the moonlight. He gently placed me back on the floor, embraced my waist, and kissed my forehead. I smiled and snuggled close to him. He gently placed me back on the floor, embraced my waist, and kissed my forehead. I smiled and snuggled close to him.
I smiled back at him. The King and the Queen needed to go after the lunch. We went to the stables with them where their carriage was waiting for them already. They entered the carriage and it drove off. Kevin and I reviewed the plan several times in the dining room before going outside.
We went to check on our guards and saw how they were preparing for the upcoming war. As we were observing, a thought crossed my mind 'To be honest, I'm scared that I may lose Kevin in this war.' Just then, Kevin pulled me into his arms and kissed my head. "What's on your mind, my love?" he asked me. 'I'm just scared I may lose you in the war. I understand that it's important to help other kingdoms, but at what price?' I told him. He held me tightly and reassured me that everything would be alright. He reminded me that we had a large army. Kevin made me a promise that he would return to me, regardless of the circumstances. His words gave me comfort, and I felt much better after hearing them. We spent more time with the guards, encouraging them and boosting their self-esteem. By the time we left, everyone seemed more confident and ready for the upcoming battle.
As we walked back to the castle, Kevin held my hand tightly, and we talked about our plans. We discussed what we would do once the war was over, and how we would celebrate our victory. I felt grateful to have him by my side, and I knew that no matter what happened, we would face it together. When we got back to the castle, we spent the evening relaxing and enjoying each other's company. We watched the sunset from the balcony and talked about everything and anything. It was a beautiful moment, and I felt truly happy and content. As the night came to an end and I needed to leave, I flew out of the large window in our bedroom. I flew over the whole kingdom and sang a lullaby as I did every night. I checked to make sure the kingdom was safe, and once I was satisfied, I returned to our bedroom. After that, I went to the bathroom to change into my nightgown. When I got into bed, Kevin wrapped his arms around me. I felt safe and loved in his embrace, and I knew that no matter what the future holds, we would face it together. With that thought in mind, I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep, feeling grateful for his love and support.
