Life after Death

As she stood up to leave, I hadn't had a meaningful conversation with anyone for a really long time but today with Abena by my side and the memories of my father guiding him, I was ready to embrace the future with open arms. And so, on that date-like evening, amidst the beauty of the town square and the company of a dear friend, Kwame a discovered that love and connection can bloom even in the midst of grief. And in that moment, he realized that his father's legacy would forever live on, not only through acts of kindness but also through the bonds he formed with others along the way. He discovered that love and compassion have the power to transcend even the deepest sorrows. A couple of months later Abena and Kwame were bond together by holy matrimony. Abena moved to the village of Dawohoso to continue living with her newly wed husband Kwame, They leave on Kwame's father's estate. A few years later after the birth of their bounce baby girl whom they name her Maame Akua after Kwame's late mother. He hope he would live long enough to spend time with his family. One day as Kwame was roaming the thick forest to look for herbs to nurture his new born baby girl Akua, and trees to be cut to build a new set of furniture for his only daughter. As he kept looking he come by scars and scratches left by claw marks madea huge monster on the trees and broken branches scattered around the path way leading in to the thick forest . He began to suspect the emergence of a new breast but he said no worries as he was prepared and took It upon himself to end the suffering and existence of search a pitiful creature. Kwame always kept the last message of his father keen to his mind TELL MY SON TO HOLD ON TO HIS GUN. I held my gun tight and prepared my bullets for the one side gun fight about to be ensued I accepted that it was up to so embark on a campaign into the thick forest into the wilderness. I moved swift and stealth through the forest and remembering my victory over this beasts kind and went and climb a tree near the village I knew at some point the beast with be thirsty and need water to continue on and waited I did, for this henious human like killer beast's regen to appear, I prepared my aim and reloaded my gun, prepared the recoil. I just had to rain bullets on this creature. I imagined how this beast re appeared and the life I have come to build with my beautiful wife Abena and cheerful baby girl Akua. I said to myself what if u had fall to kill the beast that time what if six years I ....?. Then I heard foot steps approaching me. I waited patiently and anxiously then the killer beast I was so fond of killing appeared to me surprise it was the same one I killed years ago. I was certain I buried its head in the village. Nevertheless I took my aim and shot the beast multiple times, but with my past experience with its kind it's easier and quicker I new its vital point and took shot point at is torso and chest. It was easily than before. As I was confirming  and admiring my kill then I heard, Papa papa, the voice sound like my daughter's it said Papa wake up wake up it's almost time to go to the farm Mum. I said to myself where's the voice from, it continued Papa get up is late why are u still sleeping Papa. the voice then went silent for a while. then I felt cold water being splashed on my face. I suddenly realized I was in my house on my bed now soled in water. then I felt my daughters hand on mine. The killer human like beast hadn't return but its was all just a dream. it could have been a means of my dad always reminding me to hold unto my gun. I decided not to tell me wife about my dream and continued to live on with my life. I went on too give birth to 3 more children, twin boys and the last born being a beautiful girl. I came to love the life I have lived and give all the gratitude to my father's sacrifice
