Cedric's Suspicions and Helplessness

--

"It's weird..." Cedric muttered to himself as he stared at the skies.

In the naked eye, aside from the vast expanse of space and that barely noticeable sheen of divine light protecting the realm, there's really nothing else to see. However, in Cedric's eyes, it's different.

His gaze somehow penetrates the superfluous and the ordinary, able to see through the smoke and mirrors. He could see the movement of the Void, albeit with difficulty. It's quite far from him, after all.

However, with what little he could analyze information from the little things he could see.

For example, the recent movement of the Void...

Cedric wasn't behind the news. He was aware of the recent void expedition. Such a large movement couldn't be hidden from him, especially when he normally scans his surroundings out of habit.
