Her Daring Desires

Mei Xing returned home feeling lighter than she did the previous day. She kicked off her shoes and strolled into the living room where Yi Chuhua was perched on a sofa.

She dropped down near her best friend with a sigh. "Hi Chu," she greeted with a warm smile.

"Hi, baby girl," Yi Chuhua greeted back, her eyes laser-focusses on the video on her phone. "How was your evening?"

Another sigh escaped Mei Xing's lips– a happy, relieved one. "It was great. I achieved a lot."

"That's goal, girl. I'm so proud of you," Yi Chuhua complimented.

"Thank you. What are watching?" Mei Xing asked curiously. Yi Chuhua has been so focussed she didn't even raise her head since Mei Xing's arrival.

"Oh it's a nail polishing tutorial. This cute girl at a bookstore Chen and I went to this Saturday recommended it to me," Yi Chuhua replied, finally lifting her head as the video ended.
