Mei Xing went over to the hospital to visit Mingyu, Luo Jun's wife and their newborn son that morning.

Yuxi and Mrs Luo were present at the time she got there. Mei Xing congratulated Mingyu for a successful delivery.

Unknown to them, Kang Bolin had long gone in search of Luo Jun and had found him.

While they were talking, Mei Xing's phone rang. She excused herself when she saw the caller ID flashing on her screen.

"I told you there would be consequences, Ms Luo. You refused to act," Kang Bolin spoke coldly.
