Shu Guan glanced at the people gathered outside the bookstore, all dressed in black short jackets. Apart from a few muscular-looking men in their thirties standing at the front, the rest were mostly young people in their twenties and even some teenagers with green faces, who appeared arrogant and stared at him fiercely.

The brawny men he encountered earlier in the breakfast shop were also among the crowd.

Shu Guan then turned his gaze to the old man at the front, who was wearing a black silk robe, appearing to be in his early sixties with a sharp chin and hollow cheeks, having a thin stature but full of vitality. His triangular eyes shone with brilliance, and one hand was held behind his back, while the other held two iron balls, each weighing about a pound, spinning them in his palm with a whooshing sound.
