Chapter 15: Sketching (Part 2)

"Teacher, there's a guest looking for you."

The beautiful young woman called back into the room.

The layout of Qin Bingji's house was different from Shu Guan's. Behind the entrance was a narrow foyer with a shoe rack, and next to it was a staircase leading to the second floor. Beyond the foyer was a spacious living room.

Shu Guan could see a group of young men and women sitting in the living room, chatting and laughing loudly.

In the center of the sofa sat an old man with a long, white beard.

The old man was in his early seventies, wearing a Da Hua-style short robe, tall and sturdy, with a ruddy complexion and a youthful vigor not inferior to the young people around him.

Upon hearing the beautiful woman's call, the old man glanced outside through the foyer and then got up with a hearty laugh.

"So it's Xingyun! Come in, come in and sit down."

This old man was Qin Bingji, a renowned calligrapher and painter in Da Hua.
