Chapter 45: The Monk Who Became a Thief (Part 1)

The battle inside the house ended quickly, lasting only two or three minutes.

In fact, it could hardly be called a battle, as there were no martial arts experts inside the house. They were just ordinary men, with a few even being teenagers around 15 or 16 years old.

When An Fengjun's men had kicked the door down and rushed in, these people were gathered around a large table, feasting on roast chicken and beef, drinking heavily, and were completely oblivious to what was happening outside.

An Fengjun's men quickly subdued these seven or eight men. Of course, the process was somewhat brutal, leaving their faces battered and bruised.

It was hard to imagine how these ordinary men had managed to rob An Fengjun's heavily-guarded escort team three times in a row.

Even if An Fengjun had only brought two or three of his men today, they could have easily overpowered these men.
