Chapter 56: Helping with a Small Favor (Part 2)

Shu Guan and the others followed Feng Susu into the Golden Oak Club, and behind the two large doors, there were indeed carvings of two golden oak trees.

Further in, there was a small arched wooden bridge with water flowing underneath.

After crossing the bridge, there was a winding corridor built above a small lake. The lakeside was flourishing with flowers and trees, and pavilions and terraces were hidden among them, making everyone feel refreshed and carefree.

However, it felt a bit abrupt that the elegant and beautiful Jiangnan-style garden was filled with blond-haired, blue-eyed, white-skinned people walking around.

After walking through the winding corridor, they reached the other side of the lake, where a large white dome-shaped building stood.

This was a purely Western Continental architectural style building.

Surprisingly, though, this Western-style building did not seem incongruent in the surrounding environment filled with Da Hua architecture.
