A Sad End of a Heretic

{no picture}

The daemons of Slaanesh are cruel and sadistic by nature, and their inability to control their 'excess nature' is to be expected, as it is their weakness! Take Fulgrim as an example… a once precious child of the emperor is now nothing more than a dog for Slaanesh!

A primarch who chased after perfection! Where even the slightest dip in proficiency would throw him into a frenzy! A mental state that was brought onto him by the demon that had once slept within the sword he now carries…

Fulgrim Like Slaanesh is not perfect in everything… even if 'she who thirsts' claims to be… but I digress, I'm not writing this note to describe Slaanesh as a whole, but it's core belief! Listen to me… Oh, wanders of the stars! Oh, denizen of the emperor…. Should one face off with a true demon of Slaanesh, one must… exploit its excess!

As the train cart rattles on rusty rails, with sirens and noise, the demon Obed licked his lips in a perverted fashion, as he looked at Layla's disheveled expression! And with his sword that glowed in runic colors of blue and purple, he used his sharp tongue to grace across its surface like a slimy lecher!

Annoyed by this demon's provocative nature, Layla concentrated deeply on her psyker energy. Feeling its flow through her veins, she allowed Miss A to refine its aura around her sword, while at the same time, placing more emphasis on her legs, and with a deep breath…. she let go of any distrust in Miss A! For this wasn't the time to doubt your allies…

With a deep breath, her sword glowed a gentle fire, unlike before when it was a wild mess… the aura she gave off was different, which caused the demon to pause… but not out of fear… but lust! It wanted to break her so badly! Just the visualization of doing such an act made it unbearably 'exciting'!

Not able to hold it in any longer, the demon lunged for its attack! But Mary feeling completely ignored by the demon, took a few shots at it! But even when those few bullets entered its body, it completely shoved them off as if they were no more than mosquito bites!

Agitated at that fact, Mary wanted to keep shooting at it, but more bounty hunters kept trying to get in! Knowing she had to protect the controls, she spat on the floor and put her full trust in Layla to take care of the demon, as she had her hands full dealing with the invaders.

As Obed's sword came down, Layla kept her right eye closed, only leaving her left eye to shine in its brilliance. But while it shone in the emperor's light, Layla's sword clashed with Obed's! Forming a brilliance of two worlds! One of chaotic purple, and another in holy divine!

As the demon laughed with the burning of his skin, with the smell of burned meat, his tail went in for a lick! Its first bite only removed a chunk of her leg armor, seeing its drooling mouth coming in for another starving bite, Layla had to think of something… of anything but she couldn't let a hand go from her sword! But as her mind raced with no plan, the demon tail smiled as it tasted fresh ripe blood!

Savoring its taste, the tail vibrated in happiness, until it suddenly froze! For in those moments, a cancerous disease amplified its tumors! As it swelled, Layla endured the pain in her leg as she gritted her teeth. With bleeding lips, Layla forced the demon to back up a step, as she pumped out more energy into her sword!

The demon only laughed at the feeble attempt, until it felt a sudden pain in its tail! Confused as to why he was feeling such a thing, the demon brought his tail to his face only to see it swelling up like a pus-filled balloon!

Concerned, as he saw it spread! Like an infectious disease of Nurgle. Grotesque, and rotting his tail mouth spat out blackish blood as its tongue fell out! With fear evident in his eyes, the demon broke the stalemate between the swords, to quickly rip his own tail off! But it was too late! For how can one so simply remove a 'gift' of the grandfather by such simple means….

The disease was already in his veins! And in that brief moment of distraction, Layla plunged her sword through the demon's stomach!

With a roar that burst out holy fire through his mouth, he quickly spun down his blade at Layla! But as his blade came down with savage hatred, Layla closed her left eye, and opened her right! With an eye that shined in a purple star, Layla's psyker energy took on a darker tone… A colder and bottomless tone… one that matched the emptiness of the dark sea…

With its purple glow, gravity shifted, and the demon slowed as if he felt the weight of the ocean on his back! Layle then twisted her blade out of the abbs of the demon, rendering guts and blood from its wound. The pain causes the human half of the demon's face to roll over to the demon's control! But with white eyes that peeled out blood, the face began to ignite in a red glow completing the demon!

But feeling its insides burning and itching, the demon saw itself in the reflection of the mirror sword! The vile and ugliness of its soul didn't so much as concern it, as its body began to form little growth throughout its once pristine body! With the perfectness of its body shattering before its eyes, the demon lost its mind!

With time a limiter and rage in control, the demon body only grew uglier as it soaked up more chaos energy in its desperation. But a desperation that was within reason… For if it should return to its master in failure…dying would be better than what his 'prince' would have him be…

And so in its desperation, the lights in the cart beam red, and the sirens rang, its body grew out extra tails and arms! While it grew tremendous in size by the waist, covering its bloody wounds with spot tumors! While its wings burned away, for in their place grew out bones with growths attached!

But as the steam rolled off its body, the demon punched a hole in the cart, as it tried to slam Layla, while she stared at the demon who was clearly losing control!

And in that loss of control, the harsh winds entered through a compromised cart… and with their rush, they fed the demons' fire; while blowing his hair in a passionate sense… but even the passion of the wind could not cover the growing number of sores on the demon, the pus oozing wounds and the black blood that oozed in between its dying teeth…

But sore or not, the demon crawled through the pain, through the incoherent-ness of the disease running rampant inside its human host… with eyes lost to madness the demon focused its strength through his right arm! With increased muscle mass and thick veins pumping blood, the demon throws his sword at Layla!

Cruel and deadly the blade passed through Layla's tiny frame! Through her ceramite armor and her fleshy bones! With a hardy laugh, the demon subconsciously smiled at the sight, only to be disappointed as a cold sword burned through his back! confused the demon looked up at the corpse of his adversary, only to see it disappear between lights flickers!

It was only after the light flickered, that the demon realized the feeling in his gut was different than before, where before he felt the burning purification, now he only felt the coldness of the void! With the void approaching, the demon's thoughts became so erratic, that only one word could be understood in its mind…

[Humiliation!]

Humiliation… for death in humiliation for a demon, is death equal to bringing shame to his perfection! And he couldn't have that! But instead of giving into rage or excess… like he would have normally. Instead, he strangely felt calm… and in that calmness, he remembered he was never supposed to kill her in the first place… but to capture her!

But knowing that was impossible now, the demon did the only thing he could… and that was to accept the gift of Nurgle! For he had changed his goal… since he couldn't kill her or capture her… then he would do the next best thing! Make it so that those who follow after his mistress might be able to finish the job!

And so, with a smile as grand as his excess, he enticed his 'gift' to expand his body! And while it expanded, Layla didn't wait! She gripped tighter on her sword as she continued to hack off chunks of meat and blood! But even as her armor turned black, the demon would only grow new flesh in its place!

The curse of Nurgle closing his wounds and restoring them as its tumors gorged themselves on the demon's vitality! Vitality the demon was gladly giving, as he turned away from Layla, ignoring her and enjoying the pain she inflicted with annoying moans of pleasure! The demon headed for the head of the cart!

Seeing where the demon was going, Layla panicked, and switched her eye again to glow a mix of a golden sapphire! Her sword reflecting its master will, changes back to a burning blade! While reflecting on that purity, Layla stabs the demon again in the back!

The demon only laughed at the wound as he continued to make his way to Mary, but Mary, of course, noticed his fat tortured body and shot her rifle as many times as she could! But so what if his body received more holes? It only helped spread the disease he was carrying throughout the cart!

But his smile only lasted until he heard concerning words from Layla…

{thank you for laughing… and thank you for ignoring me…} Layla said ominously.

To her words, the demon stopped suddenly…with wounds and sore dripping vile, with his teeth and mouth deformed… with a tail gone and uncontrolled mutant parts, the demon concentrated on a pull from within his body… a burning pull that drew his conscious away… that gave strength to the 'human' part of him that has yet still lived somewhere deep his in mind….

He felt his connection weakening… it felt as if the warp energy that lived within him… was leaving him… And for the first time in a millennium, the demon felt fear! Fear as it watches his body shrink… and fear, as half his face turns back into a man! Were the disease of Nurgle even halted its progression as if waiting…

[HOW CAN THIS BE!] screamed the demon as he realized the most frightening aspect of the warp leaving him in this manner…

[I am going to die… and not a false death one… but of true death!] thought the demon as his extra parts melted off like wax…

While his tumors were receding, and his strength failing him… and with his human half rejoicing…. The demon made the only choice he could… to save himself… he concentrated on what warp energy he had left in his heart and with a single stroke tore it out!!

But while he held it in his hand, he did not have the strength to crush it! Not for any sentimental reason, but because he physically couldn't! His hands were already melting away… the warp energy used to make them… was dying with each passing second…

With the inability to move, the demon could only watch, what was left of his soul fall with his heart! As the heart rolled onto the cold metal floor, Obed was at first ecstatic to regain his body… but that was only until a new pain ravaged his head!

For his body before was mostly made up of a mechanical genius! But without those parts... He was only left with vacant holes! His limbs were gone but one arm, his back was filled with bullets, and his skin was a shriveled mess… with two open wounds across his gut and back… the man was at the mercy of his pain! Then like a curse… the gift of Nurgle rapidly took charge!

With a scream that begged for death, Layla walked up to the man… and with her sword still in the guts of the man, she lifted him up by her sword… and with the opening of the train carts… she looked him in the eye and said:

{No mercy for heretics…}

She then withdrew her sword! And with a turn, she ignored the man's pleas as he fell alive into a ravine… and with a splat that did not kill him, with a barely functioning consciousness… he saw the shadows of mutant creatures… that drooled green saliva that burned with each drop… and with their hungry stomachs… they approach Obed!

With the demon dealt with, Layla looked to the skies and saw an eagle fall from grace! As it was hunted down by a falcon! Beautiful was the explosion as it opened up the sky, to allow Layla to look ahead of the fog… to see a fortress in distress!
