Perspective of life from the eyes of the woman

When the darkest day shallow the bright world

I was standing alone as the black ocean rose

I'm hoping for a shadow of another human to stay with me without a word

But with an ears to listen, with an eyes to watch, with a heart to care

Yet I was alone with the company of my own shadow

Why, where, and how were the questions that crept inside my head when the black ocean reached my chest

I was so alone that I could feel the coldness of the ocean, the fear of darkness, the loneliness of my own company
