"YOUR GRANDFATHER wants to marry off Neoma to Rubin Ong," Nikolai informed Nero bluntly. "Your grandfather tried to make the engagement official by setting up a meeting with Chairman Ong this evening."

As expected, Nero looked shocked and bothered by Nikolai's bad news.

He summoned his (crafty) son to his study because he knew he would need Nero's help to solve the problem regarding his father's plan to marry off Neoma to the Ongs.

[My son is… uhm, a bit twisted. In a good way. If there's such a thing.]

"What did you say, Abeoji? Grandfather wants Neoma to marry Rubin Ong? That bastard?"

He nodded, already liking Nero's reaction. "Based on your reaction, is it safe to assume that Rubin Ong is not a suitable partner for your twin sister?"

"Abeoji, Rubin Ong is bad news. He's the head of all the thugs in the school. Plus, he's Calyx's minion. We can't trust them."
